THis album is fucking weird yo! Good weird though. First listen, really enjoying it. I was scared they’d either make Crooked Timber II or revert back to a pastiche of their nineties sound, but this is something else entirely. Good on yer, boys. Peerless.

jeesus fucking christ. As Den said this sounds amazing. Especially that track about 1:30 seconds in. This band are absolutely unbeatable when they’re in peak form. Truly makes me remember why i fell for them 20 odd years ago.

Discounts for buying early?? Jesus, thats pretty fucking cool. What happens here is that a gig goes on sale for, lets say for example, £10. Then they chuck £3 “handling fees” on, then theres an additional £2 or £3 card fee, so in the end you’re paying in some cases 50% of the ticket price again.

You’ve got it good over there dude, tickets for those bands you’ve mentioned are in the region of at least £40 over here (plus the standard multi million pound booking fee/admin fee/credit card fee/robdog fee), so £15 for Therapy is extremely reasonable i think.

The only criticism i can aim at crooked timber is that its a little “noisy for the sake of being noisy” in places. Bit more melody would’ve been nice. But i won’t have a word said against magic mountain! ACE song.
