Apparenly you can merge facebook pages with the community pages - but for this to happen you need both the page names to be identical, which is a drawback as the ‘official’ page is called ‘Therapy’ and the communtiy page is called ‘Therapy?’

The problem with it (I think) is that people used to list their band likes as plain text, then at some point there was an automated process that tried to link those text interests with actual pages, so I’d assume the vast majority of those 15,000 likes haven’t come from people searching out the ‘Therapy?’ fb page and clicking like - rather that it was linked by facebook itself.

As the page that has all the likes doesn’t seem to hold any actual user generated content (It looks like an auto generated page, pulling in details from the Wikipedia page), its a shame they can’t be swaped over.

I don’t know how facebook handle this kind of thing…

Seems their have been lots of positive reviews lookign at all the FB posts. I did wonder how many are credible reviews and how many are blog posts by fans. I see the dawn of the deaf one has a big note on it that the guy writing it is a ‘fanboy’. Are they just being unfair to someone with a knowledge of the band or fair cop?

There is a review in the new Metal Hammer (8/10), Its not a gushing fanboy review, that said - it is written by Edwin McFee who is a member of this messageboard.

There is a page called Therapy? that basically has the contents from the Wikipedia page, it has 15,000 likes… the official one has 3,600 :(

There are rules to do with changing the name of the page once you have so many members

Yeah - got my first dan grading in May, so in full training mode at the moment.

I picked up a couple of injuries towards the end of last year that kept me from training so ended up getting out of shape over xmas, so playing catch up at the moment!
