Re: I’ve done something really stupid… in Chit-Chat

About a year ago - i promised my mates that if i ever got my hair cut i would get a proper mullet for a week as a kinda joke inbetween stage…

I let them down though - just couldnt do it!

Re: I’ve done something really stupid… in Chit-Chat

I was kinda worried about that kinda thing - a guy at work had his hair cut for comic relief last year but I didnt want it to turn into some kinda circus (i suppose that sounds selfish)

It had kinda got too long and was pissing me off but its been quite a while since it was short - to top it off i shaved off my beard as well - so i am clean shaven and short haired!

I haven’t seen so much of my face for a few years!

Re: I’ve done something really stupid… in Chit-Chat

ah - its shorter than that now - its like about 2-3cm long

short and spikey… it was really a spare of the moment thing… it seemed like a good idea at the time…

Title: I’ve done something really stupid…

I think I might have done something really dumb tonight…

Re: Great Bass Riffs in Other Bands & Artists

Janes Addiction : Three Days

Green Day : Longview

Incubus : Certain Shade Of Green (mad verses!)

Tool : Schism

Kyuss : Gardenia or Demon Cleaner or anything off Sky Valley (Play it loud - it will shake the teeth from your skull)

Metallica : Orion

Black Sabbath : Sweet Leaf

I could go on but I wont…

Re: omid djalili in Chit-Chat

Bill Hicks… Even though he died 10 years ago, you listen to his material now and its history repeating itself with George Jr…

I think quite a few Americans need to take a deep look into their souls today… they have just made the world a more dangerous place to live for the next 4 years!

I’m sure Mr Hicks would have had something to say about that

Re: Bruce or Rob? in Other Bands & Artists

{controversial)

As singers go I dont really like either of them, i’m sure technically they can both sing to a very high standard but i dont find any real pleasure in listening to either guy.

Mark Lanegan tonight.

What a brilliant show. His voice is unique and he’s got such a good backing band (including a cute female background singer ;) ). I’m not sure if he’s ever been better, definitely not with his solo stuff, but he may even beat his old Screaming Trees past.

I’ve just ordered Bubblegum - is it really as good as you say? I aint really heard any of his solo stuff but I really like Screaming Trees
