Re: Worst Album Cover… in Other Bands & Artists
Are you sure? there’s a lot of stiff competition. It _is_ uninspired, though.

Possibly better to balance it out with a complete blood transfusion, but your way sounds better ;)

Yeah, I sympathise. I’m fine for the first three thousand four hundred and one, four hundred and two or so, but after that…
I just can’t hold my coffee I guess.

Re: Worst Album Cover… in Other Bands & Artists
Okay, worst album cover (at least in recent memory) is probably Iron Maiden’s Dance of Death.
Umm, can’t think of any particularly good ones right now.
Best T? cover is Troublegum. Worst T? cover I’d have to say Semi-Detached. In my opinion.
Maybe.

I can feel the tension easing out of shoulders as we speak. Either it’s a relief to finally have the complete setlist, or this is a top massage I’m getting… Thank you DSG and Robby (for the setlist, not the massage) ;)
Cry of Love doesn’t sound familiar in any way shape or form. Not just at Donnington, I mean ever. Should I know them? :(
Cheers!

No, not a fan, but I do love those really old blues songs, so I have quite a collection of stuff like that.

Re: Kurt’s Choice in Other Bands & Artists
I prefer the Nirvana version, though there’s something kind of compelling about listening to a Leadbelly CD. He sings so low, it’s sort of hypnotic, and Where Did You Sleep Last Night? is the last song on the cd that I have.
And you?

Re: Kurt’s Choice in Other Bands & Artists
I haven’t heard the CD, though I do actually have the original Leadbelly song.

:) You know, you really _should_ get that put into your signature. It just does apply all the time! :)

Yes, you really should. It sounded cool through this computer’s speakers (1. worst speakers money can buy 2.They’re very _old_, so the quality isn’t what it used to be… 3. One of them stopped working completely yesterday.), so it must be good!

Fair enough. I’ve sent you some more lyrics, by the way. Though you probably already know that, so I’ll shut up.

Re: Favourite song at present. in Other Bands & Artists
The annoying thing is that I _know_ that there were loads that I misheard, but once I’ve realised what the original lyrics are, I tended to forget.
Incidentally, why are only the lyrics for Suicide Pact not on this site? I know they’re available elsewhere, and I (obviously) don’t want to make life difficult for you ;) but I was just wondering.

Aah, yes, Stiltskin! Thank you, Jsar, that’s a big load off my mind (be fair: it’s only a very small mind).
Hang on, didn’t you just say in another thread that you were just looking at a particular ticket stub as well? Do you just have _everything_ in front of you?
‘You’ve got your whole life ahead of you’… Quite literally, it’s fastened to the fucking wall with drawing pins. ;)

Title: Donnington ‘94
Just a random pointless thing that’s been starting to bug me, but does anyone know the complete list of bands that played?
Aerosmith headlined,
Therapy?, obviously.
Terrorvision,
Wildhearts
Extreme.
Warrior Soul???
Pantera
Sepultura
Who else?

I prefer ‘knee knee knee’, anyway… :D:D
I still haven’t got Machine Gun Etiquette :( It’s always either out of stock, really badly overpriced, or I see it when I don’t have the money. I do have a really good live album though (can’t think what it’s called at the moment), it’s (one of) their reunions. There’s some great banter as well. eg.
Rat: We’re not doing it for the money!
(vague murmurs of dissent from the crowd)
Rat (panto -style): OH NO WE’RE NOT!
Crowd (plus at least one other band member): OH YES YOU ARE!
Rat: WE’re doing it because we love you people, youre the kindest most sweetest nicest bunch in the whole wide world. Except you.
