No worries, the offer was much appreciated. I’ll have to check out whether the SIsters are touring. I think we’re going to Deus in October (the missus likes them), what do you think of them? I know they’re from your country.
The singer is sooooooo stuck up. He really thinks th equator passes through his ass. Songs are good though, and their guitarist Mauro is mr cool. he had a bad called the evil superstars that had a great song called “satan is in my ass”. They’re worth checking out

I’m sorry about that but those vip cards are for customers first and if there are any left, we can have them, so that’s why i couldn’t say it earlier.

with the complementary free drinks and food, parkingspace, shuttle service to the festival and clean toilets, and the party afterwards

Saw them twice already, just a lot of fog on stage, and from time to time eldrich apeared from it :-)
Our company is a big sponsor of this festival, so it would have been the VIP treatement and all :-)

No shoes —> Mr. bomb will steal it. And if we put a cake tin in it, than dennis will try to eat it, or at least try to lick it clean. Aren’t there any toast left that hanna made? That was ages ago, so they have to be rock hard by now

No no no no no - I meant in case you woke UP with a hangover. You don’t want to be staggering down the aisle all windswept and bloodshot, do you? So I thought I would knit you a purple and yellow veil to match your outfit. Then you can do what you like the night before. And although you won’t be able to see anything it won’t matter because everyone will be there to help you. It’s going to be lovely :)
You better start knitting mrs H, we’ve set a date, 18th of april 2009. That is “only” 10 months away :-o

Re: Whats the next gig you want to go to? in Chit-Chat
guttertwins@ pukkelpop. Metallica will be playing as well, but I’m not to bothered. I was hoping on seeing the twins at a headliner gig, since their not-that-great-concert-but-what-do-you-expect-if-they-have-to-bring-the-singer-to-the-hospital-45-minutes-into-the-show, but the closest ones are on a weekday, and biyfriend doesn’t have that much holiday left. A shame, but hope they will do more shows next year (our that they come play at the wedding :-))

Re: The Lisbon Treaty in Chit-Chat
I think the No campaign relied on confusing the masses as much as possible, dragging in every single argument (from religious to political to rascism) to make it as complicated as possible. So what it was really about was completely forgotten. That’s the picture we get painted over here.
If there was a simple explenation done like you said alan, I’m pretty sure there would have been a ‘yes’.

Re: The Lisbon Treaty in Chit-Chat
the main criticism that commisioner had was that everybody who was against something (wether it was the european union, abortus, foreigners,…) just jumped on the NO-wagon, confusing everybody about what this referendum was really about. Ah well, I have no clue what it is about, but my government descided for me that I agree :-)

Re: The Lisbon Treaty in Chit-Chat
There was a short item about it in the sunday news program here in belgium, and nobody is really shocked that ireland voted no, they were expecting it, but thy said ireland will organise a second referendum later this year, and they’re convinced ireland will say Yes. So the treaty is absolutely not burried. The european commisionar that was on the show even said it was very stupid from ireland to vote no because it will be the only memeber state that voted this way by the end of the year, so they will become isolated. We’ll see what will happen.

Re: The Lisbon Treaty in Chit-Chat
it was an itme on the news, but in the same breath they added the possibilities to pass the treaty without the “yes” from ireland

Don’t you already have an ID card? As of age 12 we all get it here. And i heard on the radio yesterday that as of today even all donkyes and hprses need to have them. These crazy people did forget that those animals do not have quite purses or wallets to carry them around but, but hey, why think about the details …
