Re: PETITION - Anti-social behaviour in Chit-Chat

deadsetgav, at first glance you would think it OTT, but it emerged that the bloke murdered was an electrician and the murderer had a 6 month ongoing diary of noise disturbance and to top it off the murderer had been in a car accident which left him with a mental health diagnosis which meant he could not stand long periods of noise or loud noise. Now the questions are; Did the electrician know this? What support was the murderer getting? Was their a mediater? Did the keen DIY electrician drill all the time and at what time of day?
I am not defending the murderer, but in the circumstances people in this situation can completely flip.
The first I heard of this incident on the radio. Somebody said “you can’t kill someone for doing a bit of DIY” but that statement didn’t tell the whole story.
By the way the bloke got 10 years imprisonment.

I am pleased not too much stress for you, and yes it is a good job you didn’t kill anyone.
Saying that did you hear about that bloke who murdered his neighbour because of his constant DIY drilling, he knocked on his door and put a knife through his throat. Scary

Title: PETITION - anti-social behaviour

Thanks for your support Joseph, people always say to me that it is stigmatising all youth, but anti-social behaviour has no age limit and it is in fact effecting youth more than adults.
We have in our area a new skateboardind development going on and in a town near us over 2000 children campaigned for a skateboard park in their area and they are getting one now.
You could start a campaign for one, or do what I did and put a petition onto the Scottish Parliament Website, e-petitions, asking for a skateboard park in your area, go for it. “Shy bairns get nowt” Also put a comment on my e-petition saying why you have signed it.
If you need some advice on campaigning contact me.
