its was in an interview tom aray gave recently saying that they’ve got one more album to do due to contract oblications. He also said its a bit ridiculous a man his age up there head banging and acting the way he does. Ill try and find the link to it but its made alot of slayer fans quite sad.

As much as i like slayer, they are not worthy to wipe maidens arse. And i hear Slayers days may be coming to an end.

just wondering..i seen there was a guy with a video camera over at the fire exit. does anyone know fi theres gonan be some recording audio/visual, legit or bootleg gonna be out?

naw it wasnt me. I was standing at the bit of balcony where the second bar would be (but that was curtained off). Got a good view of the stage. And really enjoyed the show. It makes me sad that its their last.

As for the guy banging is head from what i seen it looked like when he was going over there were no bouncers to catch him (they were throwing out some other fella i think) and he fell hard. I even heard Cormac exclaim an ‘oh!’ while playing End of green’.
Although it was good to see that they stopped and checked the guy was ok before playing the last song. The whole band was really concerned for him which was cool cos most bands would just carry on and let the bouncers worry about it.

I actually really like FFAF. Was at the belfast show last week. Good show but i did feel as if i was the oldest person there. So i stood at the sound desk where the best sound is, enjoyed the show and got the setlist from the guys at the mixing desk.

Their record company never did anything for them or helped promote their album from what i hear in interviews.

the sad thing is Kerrang reviewed the album and they gave it a really good one but the last line they said something to the effect of “…but knowing the shitty way the world works, this album will probably go unnoticed…”

although the second one is more (dare i say) commercial and ‘poppy’ its easier to get into and i think its loads better than the first. Defintly in my top ten favourite albums of all time. Such a shame that Kerbdog got shafted…

Its very good, also quite different from the pistols. in fact, very different. Love the songs ‘Warrior’ and ‘disappointed’.

True. I dont think they have management either. But surly they must still have some sort of contact with Smallwood and Taylor. They could ring them up and say “hey rememebr us? you used to manage us…give us a job…please.?”

you know what the thing that amazes me about the ‘on the turn’ album.? Aside from the fact that it is brillant…but when i read the album sleeve notes it turns out that Kerbdog are managed by the same guys who manage Iron Maiden!

Which means…i’m kinda hoping that they get the second dupport slot for the maiden gig in dublin.

dream theatre are supporting maiden but as far as i know its on some other European dates and not the irish one.
But im hoping it is therapy? that bags the secondary support slot.

31 August 2005 Maiden are playing the RDS with Marlyn Manson supporting. If this gig is anything like the last 2 metallica shows then there will be one more band added to the bill.

Therapy? would be a perfect choice and its not just a silly little wet dream i’m having..its very possible. Therapy? played wiht Bruce on the BBC6 festival back in may 2004 and even performed ‘black night’ together. therapy? also being an irish band and would be best suited to opening a big show in dublin.

so lets all make some noise and hope some fucker hears it and puts it into action!!!!
