Re: Therapy? for free in my town! (Delft instore) in Therapy? Live

The set in Delft was very nice :)
It’s strange to see the T? guys walking around in a part of the world I know so well… and somehow they didn’t feel out of place at all. I found it amazing that they played quite a few songs, made jokes, sign stuff, chat to people and still had time to go and have a drink next door to the shop, then headed to Utrecht to do another gig!

I got a cd signed, and had a nice little chat with Andy afterwards, and ofcourse I was front stage to a great gig, so I had a blast yesterday. I thought it was nice to meet some like minded people there, sorry if I intruded a bit..

Re: Therapy? for free in my town! (Delft instore) in Therapy? Live

so it seams that there are going to be quite a few people there?
Just to remind you that the store isn’t that big (very narrow) so maybe you should come a little early?

I don’t really know how these instore things work, but I guess they shut up the store a little time before the gig, so you’ll have to wait in the street?

(By the way, eventhough there’s a Gall&Gall just a few steps away from the music store, you’re not allowed to drink alcohol in that perticular street… We had a little problem with alchoholics a few years ago.)

So excited!! Love, Meta

Therapy? for free in my town! (Delft instore) in Therapy? Live

Title: Therapy? for free in my town!

Hi, I’ve been quite a lurker the past years on this board, but this is just too great!

Hey, I just hear the news that Therapy? is going to do an instore concert in Delft!!!

I was feeling slightly guilty about not going to any of the gigs this year, but all the money I had saved has gone to Rock Werchter tickets :)

So now I can see them at least for half an hour, just a 10 minutes bike ride away from my flat. That really cool :)

If anyone of you is coming, I’m the short girl with a long braid and glasses, who knows most of the songs (still hoping to get the new cd for my birthday) and is smiling from ear to ear!

By the way, next door is the Koornbeurs, and old builing which houses an open youth organisation, where you can have a very cheap beer and a nice meal. It doesn’t open untill 5.30, but it’s really nice (can you tell I’m a member?)

Anyway, that’s enough for me,
Love, Meta

Re: Rain Hits Concrete in General Therapy? Topics

I’ve just heard Andy on dutch radio (3fm) in a little promotional interview for the JD Rock nights, with the singers of the other bands also on the telephone. The presenter asked Andy if he would have come if it was organised by a tea company, and he replied “Ofcourse!”. Lots of talk about Rock and what the best line was that Andy has ever written :)

They played Rain hits Concrete, which made me realise that it’s rare that they play a newer T? song on the radio.
Nice to hear a new song, on the radio, in the afternoon…

Re: Eh, hi there! in New Members (Introduce Yourself)

Well, I live in a country where the tallest mountian (or hill) is only 321 m above sea level, a 1000 m sounds pretty high.

Finnish doesn’t sound rude to me, because dutch propably sounds just as rude to foreigners. We have the hard ‘r’s (well, most of us do) but we also have hard ‘g’s (sounding like clearing your throat) and hard k’s.

:)
Well, most dutch people are probably rude without knowing it, because we love our ‘brutal honesty’.

What kind of music do you people listen to?

Love, Meta
