I refuse to listen to it. I could take or leave Lullabies (in my head was AWFUL, and nothing else was really THAT good) and I heard Sick Sick Sick. They’ve gone downhill again, and I just know the album is going to have 1-3 OK tracks and a whole load of sickening balls.

You did see the design on the inside of that, right? Just BUILD one!

Just awful playing, looking and sounding. Eugh. Begone!

Why does Pleasue Death get looked over in live set-lists (potato junkie excepting)?

What do they REALLY think about about OCFA’s production versus rawer sounds?

Any interest in bringing back the trace-y elements from the earlier work?

Unless the acoustic version’s different (Hey, it might be), that’s a tone sharp.

ITs way better than the other options, that’s for sure.

The only difference in the studio version is the key change (it’s the same riff, but down a string, so you can play the full version -except tapping at the end of the solo- on a 5-string).

The VERY origional was done on a fretted 6 string before Les owned a Carl Thompson (see Bill and Ted’s Bogous Journey).

He sometimes played it live on a 4-string (eg. on Rhinoplasty), and that lesson is definitly correct for the 4-string version at least. Tere’s a live video of it on YouTube with Les playing exactly that… I’ll try to find it.
