Re: Therapy? to play Belfast yet again?? (benefit gig) in Therapy? Live
Actually, my freind reminded me in school today that they haven’t played ‘Punishment Kiss’ yet… second leg, and other Belfast gig with this on the set-list…?

I actually missed the DJ set. But that’s OK

Re: Therapy? to play Belfast yet again?? (benefit gig) in Therapy? Live
How could I forget! They played it better than Misfits did!
Yeah, well if you’ve ever been to the limelight- it was packed. Thing is, they opened up all 3 venues so their max. capacity was increased- but the crowd from all 3 venues came into the limelight to see T? I was right at the front, though, so it was OK.

Re: Therapy? to play Belfast yet again?? (benefit gig) in Therapy? Live
Songs- Moment of Clarity, Die Laughing, Knives, Potato Junkie, Skyward (meaning that all of Babyteeth has been played live over the last 3 Belfast gigs), Screamager, Rock You monkeys,Hey Satan you rock, If it kills me. Maybe more, anyone else remember?

Re: Therapy? to play Belfast yet again?? (benefit gig) in Therapy? Live
That was incredible last night. I got to met Andy and have a chat. Mike and I exchenged nods.
The gig was great, and the screw-ups just made it even better. Plus, you could tell they were really enjoying themselves- top night!

Re: Belfast 7th December in Therapy? Live
Definitly the best supportage I’ve ever seen- Dangerfields are always good, but both Tokyo Dragons (who were a perfect opener- lots of head-banging tunes) and Winnebago Deal were fantastic. Beats the crap out of all the nu-metal and random punk bands I’ve seen supporting.

Re: Belfast 7th December in Therapy? Live
I thought the vocals were too quiet, but the vocals are always too quiet.

Re: Belfast 7th December in Therapy? Live
Yeah, I’m in school now. 5 hours sleep, and I just watched a documentary on The Rape of the Lock. The gig was incredible, and the support bands were both great. I crowd surfed halfway to the stage and ended up on my face on the floor. That was fun. Anyone remember the set list?
I know they opened with Unbeliever then Church of noise…

Re: Belfast 7th December in Therapy? Live
I think Tokyo Dragons are supporting, but the tickets just say guests. However, riddle me this, do the doors open at 8 or 9, because different sources say different things. Tickets say 9, though…

I will be there. Tommorow night. Therapy? Woo-hoo!

Re: Only One Guitar in Therapy? Live
They haven’t been playing stuff off Shameless, Semi-detatched or Suicide Pact, but they have played Rust and If It Kills Me from High Anxiety. In the drunken slur of Andy himself ‘I hit it twice as hard’.

Re: the Therapy? Live Experience… in Therapy? Live
Also, prepare to feel unfulfilled with day to day life for about a week afterwards.

Re: the Therapy? Live Experience… in Therapy? Live
Actually, scratch that, because they played If it kills me and rust last time I saw them in the Mandella Hall.

Re: the Therapy? Live Experience… in Therapy? Live
I don’t think they’ve played anything that Martin played on origionally since he left.

Re: NANE Live! in Therapy? Live
Its not often I get to say this about an album, but every song is as good as the next, and with the whole album lasting less than 40mins, and given that songs are generally played faster live, I’m sure we’ll get a good helping.

Re: Little tounges First in Therapy? Live
Actually, its just occurred to me that they probably didn’t play the stuff off those albums because Martin had just left, and they needed 2 guitars.

Re: Little tounges First in Therapy? Live
Here here. When I last saw them in the Mandella (may 1st), they played 14 tracks in total- 6 from troublegum. The only thing from Nurse was Teethgrinder (a great track, but its taken as read) and there was NO Suicide Pact at all! Or Shameless, or Semi-Detatched if I remember correctly.

Re: T? Belfast DJ Set in Therapy? Live
How did you get to hang around with Andy and Michael? Did you win some of those special geust passes or something?

Re: T? Belfast DJ Set in Therapy? Live
Well, Therapy? didn’t go on until about 11:30… great night though! And yes, I’m paying for it this morning… and last night.
Highlights; No One Knows (QOTSA) and Teenage Kicks (Undertones).
The whole night rocked; great times.

Re: help needed in Therapy? Live
The Netherlands is suprisingly like Dublin, as far as I can tell, but it lacks that indefinable ‘Irish charm’, and is a bit less grotty.

Hey what time should we get there?

Re: Ideal set list???? in Therapy? Live
Bad Karma’s OK, but I though both Fat Camp and Evil Elvis were better off that album. Its not a favourite of mine.

Re: Ideal set list???? in Therapy? Live
Hmmm… no Martin for Wall of Mouths. OK either replace it with Disgracelands, or I’ll learn it. (some chance).

Re: Ideal set list???? in Therapy? Live
Title: Fantasy Set list (merged)
We know Therapy? browse oer these boards, so why not make up a set list for them to ponder over. It should probably incorperate songs off the new album, but its so great, I’m sure most of them will anyway…
I’ll go first
Rise Up (has to be, doesn’t it?)
Nowhere
Wall of Mouths
Straight Life
Perish the Thought
Teethgrinder
Dead (straight into)
If It Kills Me (like Andy said)
Hate Kill Destroy
Polar Bear
Stories
Innocent Abstraction (Innocent X/Meat Abstract medoly)
Last One to Heaven’s a Loser
Dancin’ With Manson
Me vs. You
This Ship is Sinking
30 Seconds
Nausea

Thanks very much, I’ll be able to find that. My mate’s having a party the same night and now I don’t know what to do… Fuck it, his parents are going to be there anyway. See yis there.

Re: T? Belfast DJ Set in Therapy? Live
Where is this bar, I’ve never heard of it… actually a few months ago I hadn’t heard of anywhere, little newbie me. Even a street name or nearby landmark (well… or a close aprximation of a landmark, knowing Belfast) would be fine, anyone.

The Front Page in Belfast. Heh he…

Re: Samples in Therapy? Live
In the mandella hall gig (may day), the sample for the Meat Abstract intro could be heard before T? went on, during the setup. Maybe a pedal/button pressed by accident, but I think it must have neen from the deck, because anything else wouldn’t have been set up by then

Re: New Songs in Therapy? Live
I’ve head Panic! and Plebians. Both sounded damn good to me. Didn’t Micheal say they’d only written 19 new songs (‘only’!)?

Re: 1st May 2004-What a show!!!!!!!!! in Therapy? Live
I saw CKY in Dublin a few months ago, so it was over here-ish. Cost me (and by ‘me’, I mean my parents:) over 100 pounds, but it was worth every penny, cuz they rocked. I’ll admit Funeral played a great set- they were tight, enthusiastic and energetic, but its just not my cup of tea, I’m afraid. Don’t worry, I’m sure CKY will be back after the new album and the new Sleepaway Camp film (and Deron’s little known about role in ‘A moth to the flame’)- maybe they’ll play Belfast this time around…
