WBA have allowed every season ticket holder TWO tickets, which is a controversial move, as by definition it means for every season ticket holder there will be someone who isn’t a season ticket holder who gets a ticket in the first batch.

Jeez that’s a pretty bad decision. I heard that there are 14,000 WBA season ticket holders, so that defiantly sucks. We have 20,000 season ticket holders here so glad they never did that here.

The worst decision Derby made was to give ‘next’ seasons ticket holders a day before general sale to get a ticket. I was talking to a friend yesterday who said that there workmate brought a season ticket just so they could utilise this, and was actually trying to get rid of their season ticket cos they didn’t actually want it…That made me feel sick!

I really don’t think Saints fans would have run on the pich at the end if it had been the other way round at St Marys.

At the end of the day no one knows, I reckon you would of personally. The only reason suggesting that you guys wouldn’t of is because you probably don’t understand the play-offs like we do. It was your first time so you don’t know what its like to lose 3 times like us, maybe next year if your in the play-offs and win the semi’s, you will run on the pitch and celebrate because you would have felt the pain of losing out like we have in the past.

Burley got pushed around a bit as well when he tried to clap our magnificent support

I reckon I speak for a lot of Derby fans here in saying that I think this were a disgrace. When Burley was in charge of Derby we had a board from hell, and I have a lot of respect for him because I don’t think many managers could of got Derby in the play-offs that season. Shame he left really but I think Billy Davies has done an equally if not better job.

5,000 on a Tuesday night, better than the 3,900 you took to ours on a Saturday. You gave 1,100 tickets back. Do you think you will sell out Wembley?

Think we have just about sold out now, luckily Derby released another 700 tickets this afternoon and I managed to get one yes!!!.. Considering the distance between Southampton and Derby I’m sure you will agree that these are pretty amazing figures for both teams, 5,000 Saints fans coming up to PP on a Tuesday tells me the Saints isn’t small time, well done.

Love you to stop down and us to put one over you BIG time next season and put those pitch invaders in their place. Jobs only half done Nobskunks.

At the end of the day mate, Derby has enough rivals, Forest of course and Leicester. And then maybe Leeds and Sheff Utd. does there really need to be another one, especially with a team so far away? The only reason I’ll be looking forward to playing Southampton next season (unlikely though cos were going up!!) is because from the evidence of the play-off matches they will be one of the strongest teams in the division next year..Look a nice Derby fan, can you believe it?

Chump I think you and some of the other fans should more like zipless and understand that it’s over and that Derby have some fans who are tw-ts just like everywhere else who are bound to of done what they did. There actually was trouble in the queuing for tickets on Sunday morning at Pride Park, fights breaking out through drunken chavs trying to jump the queue. Sad really.

p.s. It was quite funny hearing Idiakez getting booed when he came on. I went to the QPR match the other month and he got a good reception from the Derby fans then. Fans can be so fickle )

Re: Football in Chit-Chat

Nah I wasn’t directing my previous comments towards you, it was for the chump who like many Southampton fans over the last few days on different forums have been insulting Derby because of what happened at the end of the game. I couldn’t actually go to that match but from what I’ve been hearing Saints fans aren’t happy because when derby fans took to the pitch at the end of the game they were taunting the Southampton fans. Where as this probably wasn’t fair at the same time when Rasiak scored word is the Southampton fans were taunting the Derby fans about it, so really when you think about it were all as bad as each other.

On another note, gutted!! Couldn’t get a ticket for the final, the whole system was a joke! Basically they have been on sale to season tickets holders since Wednesday and the remaining ones (6,000) went on general sale to people with customer numbers at 10am this morning. However at 8pm last night, Derby announced that if you weren’t already in the queue at Pride Park, you may as well not bother. Any baggies fans on here? How was it for tickets your end? Guess you guys will like us be kicking up a stink about the 20,000 tickets that have been given to the Prawn sandwich brigade

Re: Football in Chit-Chat

I’m sure the saints fans would of done the same if they beat Derby on pens at home and were going to Wembley..

You and all the other Southampton fans I’ve seen calling Derby on all the boards over the last few days need to get over it and look forward to next season..

Re: Football in Chit-Chat

Hey man I’m not trying to wind you up, I know of the play-off pain all to well, 3 times we have lost out now including the most painful game I’ve ever experienced losing at Wembley to a last minute Leicester goal in 94. I just thought the t-shirt Viafara was showing off after he scored was not really fair to our fans, cos its painful losing out especially as we have been in the top 2 for most of the season.

I hate the play-offs, should be the top 3 go up.

Your right btw, Burley is a quality manager, even though his social life is questionable. How he got derby in the play-offs two seasons ago in their dyer situation then was nothing short of a miracle.

I actually thought at the beginning of the season the saints were one of the favourites with burley in charge, cos I noticed they were coming into form at the back end of the previous season. Maybe next year eh, but I really don’t think Ideikez is as good as he used to be..maybe its time to let him go.
