Re: Ginger gig in Bristol in Other Bands & Artists
The video (from 4:50) makes it entirely clear what happened at this gig, and Ginger is entirely excused his reaction.
The roadie’s flippin’ hard, isn’t he? I’d have run off stage if that was me!

Re: Suicide Pact tour bootlegs in Therapy? Live
No worries. Nice site. If you’d like a copy of the ‘04 show (or a reseed on Dime) please drop me a pm.
I’m not that often on this site so if any in-stores come up in the London area I would be up for taping them, in which case an email would be handy.

Here’s a show missing from your list. I seeded it years ago, when Therapy? supported The Wildhearts at Oxford Brookes Uni.

I really can’t wait to hear the re-issues, I hate it when any songs off the originals come on my MP3 player, I can’t hear them! And I love the tunes!
Perhaps recently recorded CD’s are too loud?

Quote (author unknown):
When two sounds follow each other, people tend to be drawn towards the louder sound. This is a physiological effect, but it has always caused problems when musicality meets commercial interests. Radio stations vied with each other from the 1970s on to be the loudest sounds on the dial as listeners tuned across the band.
Now record labels push their engineers to make their CDs sound louder than anyone else’s. While this may make their CDs stand out, the tragedy is that it is the paying listener who is short-changed. The short term impression may be louder is better, but after the second track or so the lack of musical dynamics starts to make things sound similar, and fatigue starts to set in after a while.
Can anyone tell me if The Garage show from last month will be released as a live CD?
Cheers

Re: Last night at the Garage Highbury in Therapy? Live
I enjoyed last night also..my second Therapy? gig (first was supporting The Wildhearts in ‘04 or so).
Vocals a bit low, bit odd as apart from that sound was excellent. I like The Garage now they’ve opened up the roof..always felt a bit claustrophobic in there.
Glad I had my workboots on as a mosher crashed into me and crushed my toes :-)
