Geri Halliwell dream in Other Bands & Artists
Title: Geri Halliwell dream
i had a dream last night, it involved Geri Halliwell driving a car around my house continuously for hours, then it had Fred Durst doing cover versions of geri’s “Scream if you wanna go faster” and billie pipers “because we want to”… it struck me that these two pop songs would make great bad-metal songs.
maybe i need to stop dreaming.

Re: Starwars Episode 3 in Chit-Chat
it will get loads of criticism though, id say that already critics have marked it for Turkey of the Year.
critics seem to have something against the new star wars stuff

Re: Backing vocals questions in General Therapy? Topics
ive a feeling that on the inside of the SP-YF booklet, you see a little drawer or something with “Grahams Vocals” written on it

Re: Real polar bear in Chit-Chat
i know this is kind of leading away from the topic, but didnt martin one time refer to the band as a group of polar bears when they were recording shameless? i have a vague memory of him saying something like that

Re: Backing vocals questions in General Therapy? Topics
To stop this going too far off-topic, what about Graham? didnt he do backing vocals on some songs?

Re: Real polar bear in Chit-Chat
Yeah especially the widely publicised attempt to help the pandas breed. I guess for some animals, particularly those who are hunted for tusks, pelts whatever, have an oppurtunity to live a safer life in a zoo. but should they be making money from this? “we have rare and endangered animals, come watch and buy souvenirs?”
Its money thats the bottom of it. an endangered animal is more interesting to look at than a sheep or a cow. i think most zoos would love to get their hands on an endangered animal, to boost revenue.

Is it available to buy anywhere? how would you describe them to somebody who has never heard them?

Re: Real polar bear in Chit-Chat
i hate zoos. they bring animals that arent suited to our climate over here and keep them in a cage. even if its a cooled cage or heated or whatever, do you think the animals have a happy life? im sure that guy would rather be out hunting seals than watching tourists and their ice-cream lickin’ children stare at them.

Backing vocals questions in General Therapy? Topics
Title: Backing vocals questions
I was wondering what songs Michael and Graham do/did backing vocals on, in particular on the albums. I have a vague memory of Michael talking in some interview about vocals he done on Troublegum, but i cant distinguish backing vocalists too well!
Also, has Neil ever done any backing vocals? who is doing the backing vocals on NANE, is it Andy?

Re: Your First Album? in Chit-Chat
yeah Wyrd, Mellon collie is a brilliant album, its the first album that i heard and was able to get ‘into.’ evryone at the time was raving about radiohead, nirvana, soundgarden etc but the rock album that first grabbed me was mellon collie

Re: Only One Guitar in Therapy? Live
they got by fine live recently, and they have a lot of material they can play with one guitar. of course one guitar is more restrictive cos some songs would be undoable, but i wanna hear a lot of NANE anyway.
