But ectually no, everyone I know (from the higher years) had a job after a month… There’s one little thing with this maybe: I study geography, with the option ‘surveyor’ ,and so did the people I know. It means that we have actually two diplomes when we graduate (surveyor and geography), and so we can find work where the geographers can’t. I have no idea if the ones who studied geography, option geography have any work-problems. But I guess not, because there are always hanging job offers on the wall next to the secretariat…
Maybe you should move to Belgium :)

I study geography…I had a GIS course 2 years ago (about ArcView and Idrisi). But since I’m in my last year I have to make a thesis wich is about GIS, more specific: 3D analysis. ArcGIS has an extention ‘3D Analyst’, wich is very interesting for me ;)
But now I’m a bit curious, what do you use it for?

Otherwise I guess you can find a lot of examples of scripts on the internet. It may take some time to find them, but I think you can built yourself a nice collection with those.

I worked with ArcView during my GIS course, but not with Avenue :(
I think the best place to search for a book about it is on the site of ESRI. Here the link to the store: http://store.esri.com/esri/.
There you can search for whatever you need ;)
It’s possible they won’t make/sell new book for ArcView related things, because it changed to ArcGIS. But I have no idea if this change has any influence on Avenue…

It was indeed a great gig!!!! It was nice to see some WoMbles again. The crowd seemed to be in an exelent mood…also that group of 12/13 year old boys on the richt side of the stage was very funny to see: they were only 1,50m tall, had a little mosh-pit of there own, were singing, dancing, drinking beer, throwing pints…Some of the songs T? played were as old as they were!! :) ;)

Cowboys and Aliens, who played a bit earlier that day, were also very good! Rock Ternat was a very nice way to end my festival-tour of this year. ;)
