They are for sure but with alot of metal inspiration also.
But maybe it’s a good idea that I listen a little more intense to the new album… I’ll give it another tryout today.

Re: NANE - Best T? album by a mile! in General Therapy? Topics
I don’t think NANE is another masterpiece. In my ears it’s just a average T? album. I got every released album since Babyteeth and still to date it’s my opinion Babyteeth and Nurse are the best releases. I like the sound of SPYF and the great songs and lyrics on Infernal Love, but I’m much more into the noisy punk sound of the early releases.

Yellow Northstate, Red Cecil or Prince White (Formerly known as Light). I only smoke when I’m drinking. I’m drinking a little too much so it’s quite a lot of cigarettes every month.

Re: What can everyone cook ? in Chit-Chat
I can cook almost anything. I’m the greatest DIY-chief. No use of cookbooks, Jamie Oliver shows or magazines!!
Last night I made a great meal of osso buco with rice. It took almost three hours but it tasted very delicious.

Re: Beer!!!! (but lets do it properly this time!) in Chit-Chat
Some company brewed a duff-beer some while ago but had to stop the production when sued by the Simpsons copyright-owners.

Re: Beer!!!! (but lets do it properly this time!) in Chit-Chat
Wahrsteiner is a great beer but not very easy to find in the Danish shops. I’ll go for a Hancock. Higher level of alcohol than normal lager and a nice taste.
(Before changing the message boards’ software in August 2007 this post had a file attachment, which may return in the future)

Re: Kevin Smith - new jersey saga in Chit-Chat
I’ll go for Clerks. Chasing Amy is also a great pick. I don’t like when Kevins movies turns too much into slapstick comedy.
Check out the Kevin Smith Show on DVD. Brilliant three hours of Kevin telling about his productions at different colleges in the US.

Hey I found the N.A.N.E Limited Edition in a Danish record store without any problems. It was the only copy they had of the cd.
Anyway - You can buy the limited edition at http://www.cdon.com

Title: Got it…
I’ve just bought the new album… Only played it twice but I really hope it will get better by time because it isn’t some new Troublegum-masterpiece. Sorry to say this but it’s an average T? release.

Another anti-Bush tune in Chit-Chat
Title: Another anti-Bush tune
My band (Soreazis) has just released another anti-Bush song by the title “The Cowboy Of Death”.
A song with a nice ‘77-oldschool sound and a catchy riff. It’s the first released track of our forthcoming album “Songs From A Picnic”.
Download the song right here: http://www.soreazis.dk/mp3/soreazis-the_cowboy_of_death.mp3
Please spread the word and let me know what you think…
Thanx

Re: what was the last gig you went to? in Chit-Chat
I’ve just seen Dropkick Murphys live at Astoria in London. F*cking great band and a brilliant venue. The biggest punkconcert I’ve ever seen in my life…

Re: The Top10 Oldschool Punk Poll in Other Bands & Artists
Yeah, Alright. I know it’s a big failure The Sex Pistols are missing. I don’t know what I was thinking of when writing down the names. But I do find Avengers and Dead Kennedys (not to forget) more interresting than the pistols.
But that’s my personal taste of music…
As I wrote some days ago - then let’s have another poll with the forgotten 300 :-)

Re: Metal or Punk? in Chit-Chat
Definately punk and I’m not talking the shitty pop-emo-rock thing the american musicindustry is serving for the Mtv viewers. No way!! Old punk n’ roll with attitude and balls.
According to my addicting to punk, I still believe “Babyteeth” is the best T? album ever ;)

Re: I’m A Celebrity… in Chit-Chat
I really hope some Danish tv-station will buy the Lydon programmes called “Rotten TV”. They were broadcasted on VH1 a few years ago, but I’ve only seen some small videoclips on the homepage.
I remember VH1 cancelled the show after four or five episodes.

You missed a lot of great bands…
How could you forget all these bands?????
As I wrote before the board only allows polls with a maximum of 10 opportunities.
I really like The Pistols and Bad Religion too (Only the old singles with Bad Religion - Their newer material is too pop’ed to me).
But hey, let’s finish this poll an make a new one feature more old punx. Maybe we can end up with a top 5 in the end and vote for the best of them…

Title: Did punk die, or just got old?
I don’t think punk is dead at all.
If you listen to some of the bands played on the webradio at http://www.maximumrocknroll.com, then you’ll find some great bands outta the good old traditions.
In Denmark we got bands such as Young Wasteners and No Hope For The Kids who are playing old style punkrock as good as they did in the late 70’s.

Okay, I know there’s alot missing there. But I couldn’t set up more that ten.
Guess I’ll go for Avengers.

Okay I got my favorites, but too stupid to choose the best. (Why the hell should I do that anyway?)
But lets have a poll anyway…

I have nothing to trade. I forgot my camera at home. But I’ll really like to see some pictures from the concert, so if you have anything interesting then please send it to peterhoff(a)punkass.com
Thanx!

I know… But these pictures are by another guy.
What my “friends” from Aarhus had was a cheap single-use camera.

Title: Help! Looking for pictures from Kolding concert…
Hi.
I met some guys from Aarhus at the T? concert in Kolding. They took some pictures… One of them was one of me, drunk and together with a guy who looked like a young Iggy Pop.
They promised to email me a copy of the pictures, but they never did…
If YOU are one of the guys I’m talking about, or know who they are, then please let me know…

Re: music dvd’s that let you down in Chit-Chat
I’m not sure it’s in the music-DVD category, but i’ve just bought The Spinal Tap double DVD. It’s realy cool. Disc two features alot of funny musicvideos, trailers and rare cut-outs.

Yeah, that’s right…
By the way: A great cover of Wasted (Black Flag) is made by the legendary german country/punk band Butch Meier.
A live-version can be downloaded at http://www.butchmeier.de/

Re: Happy New Year! in Chit-Chat
I went pretty fucking drunk. Remember I made fart-sounds with my mouth on the stomach of a sleeping friend.
But what the hell… It’s only new year once a year, and I’m planning not to drink for the next 31 days.

Therapy? - Denim Demon
That version kicks ass. Better than the original.
I got some great versions of “Another Brick In The Wall” by
The Step Kings and Class Of 99. But the most hardrocking version is made by Stallhammer - a great industrial band from Austria.

I also have a Big Muff. It sounds really nice and I love the box it’s sold in. A kind of army-box made of wood.
