Wall of Mouths

Has anyone seen (or have) this? It’s a boxed set of Semi-detatched. It was broken up into six 45rpm records.
Looks like it was a Japan only deal. FIrst time I’ve ever seen it, so I scooped it up.

I just stumbled into Pleasure Death and Babyteeth on iTunes!
I was playing Innocent X, and in the recommendation bar in iTunes it popped up Babyteeth.
Looks like Southern Records released them onto iTunes. But they messed up and it’s under “Therapy” instead of “Therapy?”
But the artworks there and everything.

Now if A&M (or whatever they are now) would do the same with the rest of the catalogue.

NANE was finally released on US iTunes. I swore OCFA was too but it’s not there anymore.
Nice to see another Virginian (well soon to be ex) on the boards. But 30 miles south of Richmond…isn’t that NC?

Dexter is a rare case where the show is way better than the books. The first season was basically the first Dexter book, but the second season goes way beyond what the books have. The show actually builds up the characters more than the books. Only potentially interesting bit in the books is how his girlfriend’s kids are budding little Dexters.
But the author killed off the woman leutenant in the first book and mangled Doakes in the second. The girlfriends ex isn’t even in the books. Where the show turned them into big characters.

Can’t wait for the 3rd season

I used to have a 40gig Zen, but it died. But now I have an 80g iPod, since there isn’t much of a price difference any more ..no problems in over a year of having it.
THe video isn’t that bad, I ripped all my T? vids to it.

Screamager. That first line sums up my teen years better than any song…too bad it came out a few years after I graduated

just got back from seeing Pearl Jam again..good as usual. Only issue was whenever Eddie talked to the crowd, the echo was so bad up in the 2nd deck you couldn’t understand a word he said. SO everyone just started yelling “shut and Play!”

Just bought it DVD, just stumbled into it Best Buy…really liked it. I thought the actors did a great job live. Surprised they actually played live versus synching to a recording.

Shellac’s - At Action Park, the LP is really cool. THe stuff is too small to see on the CD

alright album. Better than the last but not as good as Blue or Pinkerton. I pre-ordered mine and got a free viynl 7inch. Still haven’t listened to that though

They only had the one album, which was great, and last I saw the singer was in another band, Walking Concert. (not as good)

a couple of newbies

First some new- old school Bay Area Thrash
Testament - The Formation of Damnation…the first Testament with the original lineup (except the drummer). Alex Skolnick is still awesome.

Second the new Local H- 12 Angry Months..one the few bands that can pull of a concept album. Pretty simple in this case, in this case chronicling a horrible break-up. Good Stuff!

watching some old Anime. The Irresponsible Captain Tylor. Generally not a fan of the funnier stuff, it’s usually too over the top goofy. But this one let the situations and plot drive the laughs. Plus it had alot of Food for Thought.

some day soon I plan on going back into the office…god I love telecommuting!!

Face to Face got back together to do some shows. I think they’re in Europe right now..or were.
They aren’t planning to record because they have so many side projects..but they still love to play the stuff live.
