Re: New Weezer single + Album in Other Bands & Artists

I’ve heard the first 8 songs of it (the other ones haven’t *cough leaked yet cough*, pretty good as usual , some strange songs on there, check out the song The Greatest Man That Ever Lived , thats a very odd one. Theres a few songs on it with other memebers on vocals which are my least favourite but all in all another consistant Weezer effort. Just wish they’d play in Wales for once , i’d love to see them.

Re: Feeder… in Other Bands & Artists

Listened to the new one twice , once last night when i was trying to sleep and I thought it was pretty average and just finishing my 2nd listen and I think its better already :S strange how things change so quick.

If people want a more rock album from Feeder they’ve certainly got it , pretty much every song has a big riff, maybe too many in my opinion it just sounds a bit forced and most of the songs sounding the same and its hard to pick what the best ones are. Some really good lyrics and quite catchy once you’ve heard the majority of songs more times.

Still nowhere near as good as Polythene and YWTS. Just another decent feeder album really.

Re: the wildhearts in Other Bands & Artists

@buffalo-boy , I assume its just on the albums , thats what hes said on the new york gigs hes currently doing.

I wish he’d do the old acoustic gigs , the ones with Random and Hot steve , they were the best ones. But as Grant said Ginger is sober these days so it probably does get a bit boring after awhile. But hey , the more Wildhearts thats happening the better tbh.

Re: What’s EveryOne Listening To in Other Bands & Artists

Descendents - Everything Sucks. Probably the best album i’ve bought from the past year or so , love it.
Rancid - …And out come the wolves.
The Clash - S/T

Going through a nice punk phase.
