Bloody hell I used to think I liked quite obscure/unheard of bands but you lot take the biscuit :D. I do mean that in a good way.

Does this thing let you upload anything other than mp3’s ? As all my music is in the itunes format.

Glad we’ve had a bit of news, it had been awhile. A bit gutted its gonna be out in 09 but i’m just being greedy.

The longer it takes though could possibly mean better quality ? So good reason to be optomistic.

Do you think that with the album not coming out til 09 that there won’t be any gigs til then either? It has been over two years now since a UK , or did they do any last year? I can’t remember.

Was Risk the one with Moto-pyscho on it? That was the song that made me stop listening to them. I did buy the last but 1 album off them but I lent it to someone and never got it back unfortunatley… and never bothered to buy/download it again.

I’d say its on par with III , by that I mean excellent and Nola well its just the best.

Get it if you can Graeme , great album.

Has/Is anyone going to sign up for one of the newspaper fantasy football games like The Sun etc… We could then make a WOMble leauge and if its the best we all win money or something along those lines. :)

@ KJC , I didn’t mean Megadeth were cheesy , I meant the title Death Magnetic sounds like a Megadeth album name. And no im not a ” Generation ‘tallica fan(I don’t know what that is???) infact there not even in my top 20. I love Ride to ‘Metallica’ , I don’t mind Load/Reload. Kill em all is ok. St Anger is awful bar two songs in my opinion.

And just to be an arse surely if Megadeth mopped the flaw with metallica everytime they would be playing places like wembley… and be the biggest metal band? Sorry :D it had to be said. (No arguments please lol) I know everyone has there opinion.

I do like most megadeth but tbh I gave up after Coundown , for all I know everything after could be great.

I’m just wondering why there isnt much love for The Black Album? Do alot of you actually think songs like Sad But True , Wherever I May Roam , Of Wolf And Man , Through The Never , Holier Than Thou… Fucking hell the whole album is a masterpiece. Ok it was a more commercial album but for straight up hard rock/heavy metal it surely is one of the best of all time? I love master , ride and justice but TBA would be up there with them every time. I know your all entitled to your opinion but surely cheesy as fuck songs like Motorbreath , Hit the lights , Jump in the fire and Metal Malitia aren’t better than the ones of TBA I mentioned? Or am I hearing different albums.

As for the new album , I’m quite looking forward to it but with the title Death Magnetic I just think its gonna be a cheesy attempt to back to the 80’s. Actually it reminds me of newer Megadeth which I can’t take very seriously at all.

Really looking forward to this season , I genuinally think it could be Liverpools time for the leauge if we get Barry and Robbie Keane… then again I always think they COULD do it. Heres hoping. You watch first game of the season against sunderland away a frustrating 0-0 or 1-1 , would be typical.

Maiden in twickenham yesturday, They were amazing , I was on the barrier but right under a big screen so couldn’t help but watch that at times which kinda took away the live feel if ya get me. But fair play brilliant set played to perfection really , the stage show was fantastic… a pity it was still light even up to the last few songs so the lights and stuff didn’t have there full justice. But nonetheless a great show and proves the world really that maiden are the biggest and probably the best metal band in the world at the moment… yes even bigger than Metallica lol.

Off to see maiden tommorow in twickenham can’t wait. And to make it even better I actually have a standing ticket which I didn’t realise at first :D.

I made zero on the euros, glad Spain won in the end , best team overall.

Robbie Keane to the pool , oh yes I’d love it. And they were his boyhood team, hope this happens. Keane is a class act.

I have got to see them this time , missed out on them twice previously in Bristol and at long last they’ve come back to Wales. Brilliant :).

Great band , like the majority of they’re stuff , propbably the latter stuff more tbh more catchy in my opinion. Plus they only played one or two of the pre .com stuff live , so they must rate all the latter stuff surely?

I really like the first 5 or 6 songs but when the other band members take on the vocals I start to cringe , I don’t like any of their voices.

I bought the deluxe for the 6 extra songs and they aren’t upto much either. Bit of a let down album , would still love to see them live though.

Quite gutted Holland are out , Russia did deserve it though fair play. Suppose I want Italy to win tommorow as I am quater italian and I would win £60 if they win the tournament :D.

As far as the fantasy football goes the third group games have gone pretty shitty with the majority of us with players who’s teams have already qualified like Portugal , Holland and Spain.

The quaters if unlimited transfers and 10 million extra so we’ll probably have near enough the majority of the same players , guess its gonna come down to who picks the right captain.

Yep its truely an awful name for an album , sounds really cheesy. I haven’t heard anything from it yet , I’ll prob wait for the full songs.

Well yes , I wasn’t too sure that Holland could do it again but wow I was proven wrong they were immense , It was probably the best game i’ve possibly ever watched and im really serious about that I actually stood up and clapped when Sneijders goal went in.

What is it like out in the netherlands at the moment Punkwank? I went to Amsterdam last year on football tour during the gay pride festival and I thought that was mental.

It was on last night on film4 as was This is England , both great films that i’ve liked for a good while. There two of the very few films of the last 8 or so years that i’ve actually liked.

Well Spain looked good , comfortable win and they didn’t play to there best I don’t think. Sweeden deserved there win , Greece were woefull.

So for Spain and Holland have played the best , I think Portugal and Germany will improve as the tournament goes on.

Btw has anyone used a wild card yet ? Can anyone give me any info on how it works please ? Cheers

WOW well I wasn’t quite expecting that. Holland were great , the two counter attack goals were brilliant. I even thought Italy played quite well , didn’t really deserve to lose 3-0 but can’t take anything away from the dutch they were fantastic.

What a comparisson from the France game to this one , one of the worst games i’ve ever watched to one of the best.

I’d still like to see Italy go through from the group , they should beat Romania next. And now I hope Holland stuff France.

Looking forward to seeing Spain tommorow, hope they play good attacking football like the dutch.

Well that was the most boring game I have ever watched , and I’m a Liverpool fan. France playing two defencive midfilders , even in the last 10 minutes. They looked too scared to try and win , and well Romania have got a draw against the french they’re happy. I still won’t right off france completley yet , Hopefully Italy will do the business later.
