New AMP - Need guidance in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)
Title: New AMP - Need guidance
Just purchased a new Fender Princeton Chorus amp and would like some help with the settings and find a way of getting a decent rock sound from it.
And I think this would also be a good spot for fellow guitarists to mention what settings we all use on our amps…

Title: Hi Rico
I don’t have a problem in singing, not as well as Andy mind, but I do sing in my own band.
I’m not really fussy when it comes to the covers, Preferably songs which I can cover would be nice.
Any particular ones you would like to do?

Re: Evil Elvis and… ahem… alternative tunings? in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)
Title: Elvis Elvis
Can anyone tab out that song in standard, without just mentioning the chords, please.
Also, anyone know what effect is used in the intro to ‘Bad Mother’?

That sort of question relies on opening up a new thread me thinks. :)

WANTED: T? Tribute Band :) in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)
Title: WANTED: T? Tribute Band :)
Is there anyone out there in the South of the UK (Portsmouth, Southampton area etc) that are interested in forming a T? tribute band?
I myself can play rythum guitar, and I know of a bassist. But would there be anyone else interested, or anyone you may know?
Do please get in touch. :D

Re: Evil Elvis and… ahem… alternative tunings? in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)
I’m guessing more of the punkier songs are more standard or C tuning, right?
But people you’ve forgotten my other request about Evil Elvis.
Oh and hey what strings and gauges do you all choose to play your T? tunes with…?

Whats wrong with drop D ? I love drop D !!! :D
Its too easy to play and its so common in tablature listings, and to many a nu-mental band that… don’t take this to harsh… I’m not so keen on.

Could anyone help in getting that T? sound (old or new) on my Marshal 100w amp? We’re talking accurate amp settings if possible? Not just “turn the distortion way up..” stuff.
Many thanks!

Evil Elvis and… ahem… alternative tunings? in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)
Title: Evil Elvis and… ahem… alternative tunings?
Just wondered could someone tab me out, fully, the tab for ‘Evil Elvis’? I’ve seen a rough one on the ‘suicidepact.com’ site but I’m not kick ass on reading chords, so if someone could have me out that’ll be great ;)
And please can someone tell me the truth… Therapy? NEVER use drop-d tuning, right? I’ve seen so many tabs for it and I don’t believe the band uses it. Also cause I hate that tuning.
