Re: Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available in General Therapy? Topics
Folks,
A few people have (rightly) been getting worried about the delay/absence of their webgig sleeves. Before you start attacking postal workers, let me explain cos’ its actually our fault! What happened was that when the initial batch of sleeves ran out we had to decide on how ‘limited’ we wanted the release to be. After a bit of to-ing and fro-ing we decided on a number and made plans to get the remainder printed up.
The guy Neil was dealing with at the printers was apparently “on holiday” so we decided to wait until he was back. After a time had passed and a few calls had been made it became clear the dude was on ‘permanent holiday’. The original artwork was nowhere to be seen either so we then had to get our designer (Curt Evans) to redo it for us. He’s a busy man so that took a wee bit of time as well….
Ok, so the upshot is that the sleeves will be done soon. Neil, Andy and myself will be signing and personalising(and numbering!) them by hand as we did before, then they’ll be in the mail asap! Rest assured all orders will be honoured.
Thanks for your patience peeps,
Mikehellx

Re: Mastodon in Other Bands & Artists
Guys, far be it for me to eavesdrop on yer chat but if you lovely peeps are digging all things Mastodon then i highly recommend ” The Red Album” by Baroness. It’s probably the best heavy/psych/groovy album i’ve heard since…errr, “Blood Mountain”. Note its not similar but has that great dirty vibe to it…you know what i’m talking about…

Title: correction
…man, i would have loved that we signed all sleeves ‘indidually’ but that was not the case. We have used a new ‘individual’ coding format which i think ye will all love…

Re: Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available in General Therapy? Topics
Folks,
Looks like the web’gig’ has caused quite a large amount of feedback both on the WOM and to the Church Of Noise. All comments are mucho appreciated and whilst some are spot on and we agree(and will hopefully address on the next one), the rest are wildly off the mark. We always knew we’d be opening a can of worms with this kind of project but as they say “nothing ventured nothing gained”…
As much as we could, we left the decisions with track selection/ordering options with you guys and mostly that has been enjoyed. Anyway, without getting too ensconced in all the pros/cons of personal opinion…there are a few things we’d like to correct…and only ‘cos i hate people stating their opinion as ‘fact’…
1.”Delay in getting sleeves”…they are going out slow as the intial batch went missing, the post ain’t what it used to be and some people have filled the order forms wrong so we’ve had to chase up a few addresses/signing names. Apologies to those who did it all correct and are still waiting…all are on the way.
2.”No mics on the guitar amp”…look closely my friend, there is a SM57 on a small stand in front of the bottom left speaker of the Marshall cab. It’s dark granted…
3.”the sleeves aren’t personalised”…all sleeves have been signed indidually by each band member and the ‘dedications’ have also been handwritten as per what each person ordered(i should point out that a lot of people didnt fill this bit in right at all…sorry!)
Ok, hope that may clear up a few thangs…
Love ya…

Re: Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available in General Therapy? Topics
Sorry, just re-read my previous post and certain bits were not particularly clear…To re-iterate, the ‘webgig’ concept was meant to be neither a ‘cd’ nor ‘dvd’ in that any hard copy would exist.
This is how we wanted it to be as to remain separate from our ‘offical’ album releases(new material etc)…Hopefully we would do a series of ‘webgigs’ and each one would showcase a ‘different’ angle or theme on the bands music.
As we said before, this is our first foray into a new medium and the response has been great. And along with that we are open to any feedback as how to improve the next one(within reason…no “put some naked chicks on the next cover” please).
Anyway, please be assured that any autographed item(s) you request and recieve from the band are genuine and have been handwritten (and not by trained monkeys though that is an idea)…
Cheers,
Mikeage Of Hellage X

Title: sleeves
Guys,
Michael from Therapy? here, sorry you didnt like the sleeves. The thinking behind the ‘cd size’ is that most people would burn it onto a ‘cd sized CDR’…it’s meant to be a ‘download concept’, we never said it was a ‘DVD concept’ and the tracklisting is in a different order because surely each person can/could choose their own way to sequence the tracks. Does that make sense? We just wanted it to be as ‘open’ as possible and the ‘signed sleeve’ was meant to be a bit of a bonus/special fan thingy. Make any sense?
If it’s any consolation i can assure you that the band signed every sleeve personally and i hand wrote every “to…” on the sleeves then trudged to the post office and licked every stamp with my very own blistered, swollen tongue…
;)

Re: Exclusive Therapy? webgig now available in General Therapy? Topics
Hello good citizens of the Wall Of Mouths,
Just been monitoring the way the webgig download scenario has been going and wanted to let you know everything is being done our end to get it back up to speed. When i say ‘we’ i actually mean ‘Rene’ as the dude is busting his nuts to fix this all. Thankfully progress is being made so i would ask everyone to take it easy and Rene will work his magic asap.
It’s early days but myself and Andy and Neil are delighted with the response to the songs/video so far. Thanks for all your support and all feedback is appreciated so future(?) efforts can be tweaked.
Oh, and to second Rene, i guarantee anyone who has paid will get the relevant audio/video as soon as it is possible.
Thanks for your patience…

“Lost Playground” cancelled in Therapy? Live
Title: “Lost Playground” cancelled
Folks,
Regretfully we have to inform you that the “Lost Playground” show at Alexandra Palace on September 23rd has been CANCELLED. The reason is that…
“…the promoter encounted problems with the local council which has caused the ‘all nighter’ to be cancelled. Red tape has made it impossible for the promoter to continue with the show.”
Sorry y’all as we were looking forward to the show but again circumstances outside the band’s control have conspired against us…
