Title: More summer gigs…

Okey dokey, A few more summer shows confirmed. June 8th sees us return to Toronto, Canada for the first time in 11 years to do a one off show as part of the NxNE Festival. We’re all very excited if previous gigs there are anything to go by. The following week we’re at the Novarock festival in Austria (16th June) with the likes of Pearl Jam/Frank Black/Isis/M Manson/Lordi etcetc and the next day(17th June) we hit Greenfield in Switzerland, this time with the Smashing Pumpkins/Manics etcetc. More dates as and when we get them confirmed…TPY?2007

We are indeed doing an ‘in-store’ appearance in Dublin on all Hallows Eve(just prior to our support slot with the mighty MOTOR-FUCKIN-HEAD)…It’s in the HMV, Grafton Street, October 31st and we’ll be there at 4pm to play a short acoustic set and sign whatever the good peeps want signed. Folks,
Regretfully we have to inform you that the “Lost Playground” show at Alexandra Palace on September 23rd has been CANCELLED. The reason is that…

“…the promoter encounted problems with the local council which has caused the ‘all nighter’ to be cancelled. Red tape has made it impossible for the promoter to continue with the show.”

Sorry y’all as we were looking forward to the show but again circumstances outside the band’s control have conspired against us…

Title: Turkish Shows Cancelled

Folks, I feel shitty having to tell you this but our Turkish shows next weekend(16th and 17th April) have been cancelled. The reason is due to the Turkish promoter who failed to provide us with guarantees and repeatedly lied about what he had and hadn’t done.Because of this we lost faith in his ability to put on a professional show for the band and most importantly, the people who bought tickets. We’ll be posting a full detailed explanation of what went on later in the week but for now please accept our sincerest apologies and rest assured we are also very disappointed with this turn of events.

Everyone knows how much TPY? love and respect our fans so it would be a tad churlish for me to start knocking them now. You all have helped us through some bad days and we totally appreciate that.

Personally, i feel playing this Rolling Stones gig will be a good test of the Therapy? band. Playing to people who ‘dislike’ heavy musc will be a big challenge for us.

btw:as for acting bored at the Amsterdam gig? I think you must have me confused with some other bass player. I had a great time in the MAxx and thought it was a great show. i might have acted ‘bored’ before or after the gig but in no way was i ‘bored’ onstage…

Folks, sorry to drop this on you at short notice but the THERAPY? dj’ing stints in Sheffield and Manchester on Sat 3rd May and in Nottingham and Birmingham on Sat 10th of May have been cancelled. We are totally pissed off at having to pull these but a number of ‘logistical problems’ have come up. Rather than do these things half-cocked we feel it is better to cancel altogether. Don’t worry as the clubs will have plenty of posters, shirts, cds and stickers to give away on the night,it’s just a pity you won’t be able to hear us on the wheels of steel.

Thu 8th Aug Lokerse Feesten,Lokeren,Belgium.

Thu 15th Aug Marktrock Festival, Leuven,Belgium.

The band have also been confirmed for the Irish ‘OZZFEST’ and probably will do at least 1 German festival in the summer. Other than that Andy, Martin and Michael have been writing new songs and getting ready for another bout of road madness…

These are the only US shows we have for the foreseeable future. Obviously we hope to hit the West coast sooner rather than later but nothing definite as such. Sorry US folks but the Sit and Spin show is most definately NOT on. It was never confirmed but some rumours press/word got about. If anyone tells you different my flight ticket home says 23rd February so if T? are performing on the 24th it sure as fuck isn’t us.
