Well, it finally arrived from Play.com (Thursday morning,30/09) and I have to say that I love it ! Being a HUGE Therapy? fan anyway, tis no surprise.
Fave tracks so far - Perish The Thought and Long Distance
What struck me about this album is that you can hear traces of many of their previous albums, most notably Nurse, Troublegum,Semi-Detached and High Anxiety.With regards to this, what stuck out the most was Neil Cooper’s drumming - strangely reminiscent of Fyfe Ewing’s on Nurse and Troublegum. Ace drumming by the way, Coop !
It’s growing on me with every listen, this album.
1st December I’m rocking out (like monkeys?) with them in the London Astoria…
