Eh?! I didn’t make Michael put a blond wig on and lipstick and stuff!

I swear!

If you check my original order form, I asked quite clearly for a FEMALE. Honest!

you as well??

the fax finally came through, and the offer is guaranteed for the next 20 days, so this gives me a little more time than expected. good, becuase the lazy fuckers from the other bank don’t work on wednesday afternoon

It’ll all work out OK - what u gotta remmeber is that the bank are selling you something worth a lot of money to them, so it is in their best interest to sell it to you. They may take a while to sort it, but you are in the driving seat - they NEED you :)

If you have time on your hands you could try and figure out why I can’t get on to your band’s website. That would be far more useful :)

Easy-peasey one to answer:

Our old website was taken off line as we were in dispute over how much we were being charged for it, so our drummer’s wife offered to put one together for us.

She is determined to make it all-singing and all-dancing, but as a result it’s taking her a lot of work and isn’t actually online yet.

*attempts to get his spirit into Heaven. Is turned away on account of “satanic” music he has listened to in his lifetime. Telling St Peter to “Fuck off, you twat, I spent hours and hours at Church as a lad, you ungrateful wanker” fails to reverse entry policy.*

:(

*Attempts entry further south, where Satan is more welcoming. Is given first job: “Here you are Dennis, just the job for you, my son! You just sit there at the PC and, piece of piss this, just look through this old ‘Gracious Me..’ thread for your ole pal Satan, won’t you..?”*

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Morning! Yeah, I thought “bastard Women Day” made it sound like a day for women born out of wedlock, rather than a random swearword!

Anyway, I asked my wife if I was allowed to express opinions about this and she said “no” so, enjoy your equality today, women!

:D

EDIT:

@ Marja No offence meant, honestly!

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

I gave up chocolate for two whole years, a few years back.

Cadbury’s stocks plummeted. They actually wrote to me and begged me to come back.

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

You know they have that policy of not banning staff from helping themselves, cos they know that after a couple of hours of working there, no-one wants to touch the damn stuff again?

I think I could just about be the exception to the rule, if only they wouldn’t keep marking my applications “Return To Sender”

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

:D

As I type this, I am approx 10 miles from the Cadbury factory, maximum.

My bro used to live round the corner from it. Needless to say, I used to visit him much more often in those days…

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

I worked for three and a half years in a very stressful job I hated, working weekends, late nights, Bank Holidays, Christmas Day even, and looking back now I cannot believe I put up with it. At least you are on the way to getting out of it, no job is worth making yourself ill over.

Well, except chief taster at the Cadbury factory, in which case I would probably still go to work if I was half dead :D

FAR too difficult. This requires an agonising Rob Gordon type elimination process. :)

Tell us yours, Dennis…

OK it doesn’t have to be your definitive all-time favourite, just tell us about an album you can wax lyrical about!

I haven’t really thought about one yet, though I’ll have a go later, I just wanted to read what everyone else was gonna put, to be honest!

Sell Me Your Favourite Album(s) in Other Bands & Artists

Title: Sell Me Your Favourite Album(s)

Not literally, I mean;

Tell us what your favourite album is AND WHY.
I get bored of these “what u listening to?” threads when they turn into just a long list, so tell me something about your fave records - you may even make some new converts to them along the way.

Mind you, could be worse, they crucified Jesus at that age!

Sobering thought, tho, to think that by next year I will have outlived God himself…!
