Title: This Ship is Sinking

I think they’re all great, but I’m very partial to This Ship is Sinking. It sounds very Joy Division-y

It was a fantastic gig, and now I’m nursing a hangover worthy of Vikings.

Yeah. Good music has lost a great champion. He brought bands like Thin Lizzy Joy Division, The Fall, and The Undertones to wider public attention. And I’m sure he played Therapy? very early on.

A very sad loss.

Well I picked them because they seemed to have similar status amongst fans…

I went for Shameless. It’s a one off. I think it’s great that T? have this sort of album in their back catelogue. It’s sort of a fun glam-rock stomp. I wouldn’t want every album to be like it, but it works for what it is.

NANE is excellent. I love the harsher sound. That said I like HA as well, but I think NANE is step up

And any resemblence to SP-YF would count as a compliment in my eyes.

Title: Shameless or Semi-Detached?

In the spirit of the Troublegum or High Anxiety poll, which of these two do you prefer?

I’m listening to the last two albums a lot this week. High Anxiety is the business! But Troublegum is just a total classic, so it gets my vote (not that it seems to need it!)

Punishment Kiss, Dancin’ with Manson, Potato Junkie, Teethgrinder, Evil Elvis, Screamager, Trigger Inside, Bad Mother, He’s Not That Kind of Girl, Six Mile Water, Sister, This One’s For You, Stand In Line, If It Kills Me and just this week Rock You Monkeys.

Actually sort of wished I’d picked Evil Elvis as a name. ;)Has that been taken?

Yeah, neither could I. First I tried ‘Innocent X’. That was taken. So I tried ‘Bad Mother’ and bingo! However, sorry to disappoint but this Mother has a collection of dangly bits down his trousers! :D It’s just one of my favourite T? songs.

And I have no money-making schemes worthy of sharing with you. But if I have a moment of inspiration, I’ll let yis know!

Hello there. I’d like to introduce myself. It’s only polite. I’m from Dublin, Ireland. I’ve been into Therapy? since about 1993. I never checked to see if they had a message board. :)

Favourite albums? Babyteeth, Pleasure Death, Troublegum, Suicide Pact- You First and High Anxiety. Picked up NANE last week and I’m getting into it.
