Birthday or buggering… just checking?

Nothing this year.. i had air line food as i was on a plane this Christmas Day. But if it looked like Dan dressed like that It would certainly put me off it for life. Jesus must be currently weeping.. you know if he wasn’t fictional and all?

Trust up and stuffed like a Christmas Turkey… its like his perfect birthday.

I’m so happy for him :)

It sort of depends how he drunk or what he is on, i read one book and the writer said he was just a good bloke… but way to intelligent for his own good so gets annoyed and frustrated too quickly and added with booze is very irratic. One of the best live bands i have seen back with the fall heads roll line up, very shambolic but fantastic.. sadly after such a high the fucking magic band came on and bored everyone pissless with there beard stroking music.

cool cheers for the links, i’m going to go and have a look for it today. Fall head roll and The real new fall album Country on the click are the best two albums they have done i think… but all of them have there strengths, it was just the line up on those two seemed to have the strongest musicians. The last album was a bit of a mess as i don;t think the band had been together long as he picked them up in america when he sacked everyone… again.

Another year another fall album.. the new one Imperial Wax Solvent is a real solid album, better than the last one. Also Mr E Smith has his autobiography out last month which i will have to get hold of, i’ve read a few books about the fall so be good to hear his versions of events.

I think the new album is ok, nothing too amazing some cool tracks. I just hope he doesn;t just release any track he writes and has some sort of quality control… i love that he is puting out new music more oftern but his past albums were good and took time as he did make sure all the tracks were as good as they could be.

So another new album from NIN- The Slip its not too bad and given away free… he’s been a busy boy hasn’t he.

Probably more for Allroy then anyone.. but ALL have reformed for some gigs with Scott reynolds on vocals again.

These days it seems to be lots of dodgy 80’s pop and synth stuff… people at work may kill me if i play “heaven on earth” again over the company music system.

Helmet last night in Sydney… it was really really good, they started with some stuff of Aftertaste then did the whole of the meantime album in reverse order then finished with some old songs and just another victim. They were chatting and catching up with the crowd before hand and then stayed and signed stuff and drank with everyone after it was a cool way to do a show.

Well at the moment its 12,000 miles away so its use has been minimal… but when i was in the uk however it clocked up some pretty good millage when it was in the boot of my car for about a month.
