Re: BBC Sessions - music through a cheap transistor in General Therapy? Topics
My parents forward my copy on to Oz and it arrived today… why is it that it can come here in no time i send someone special a letter and it takes about four weeks to get there?
Anyway nice to have a CD copy… can’t stand this whole mp3 bollocks.

Re: Therapy? Q&A August 2007 in General Therapy? Topics
I’m personally a big fan of your darker and more noisy albums Like Babyteeth, Nane and Suicide pact.
I’ve heard Andy in Particular say that SPYF is one of the albums he is most proud of… Is there any reason why songs from this are left out of the setlist more than other albums… is not having the second guitar player or cello player a factor in this?
I know playing the hits is sort of expected, but with such a strong catalogue to choose from it’s a shame that some songs from all the albums miss getting an airing once in a while.
Cheers for your time :)

Or at the very least they may let you have a look at their framed signed copy of the webgig they keep pride of place above the mantelpiece.

Re: Have They Gone And Done It? in General Therapy? Topics
Why? they do have families and other things to do you know… some bands take the same time to do one tour and an album in the same time t? have made three and toured fuck knows how many times.
We are lucky that we keep as up to date as we do, some bands sites are forgotten about a few months after an album is released and then updated when the next one comes out.

Ah well as long as you had fun making it then all’s good :)
i have somewhere a cover of meat abstract i did… but i think it’s best it stays out of ear shot ;)
Personally I love Skyward or anything of Babyteeth for that matter… nice to hear a cover that isn’t a song off troublegum.
Keep on butchering those hits kid! :)

Re: Hopes for a new T? Album ? in General Therapy? Topics
I’m hoping the new album is song based, with the band using some sort instrument and voice combination.
All in all whatever they choose to do will be fine with me… maybe they should produce it themselves and then use the money they would have spent on a producer to get someone decent to mix it.:)

It’s unlikely, here is a post from andy a few years ago when the subject was brought up. Of course there was more to andy’s post then some asking when they will play… so best to read the whole thread to understand it:)

Re: Design a T? Shirt in General Therapy? Topics
I really think it would be a good Idea if Therapy? used cafe press and then they can they can design new t-shirts when ever they want for a limted time or not and it costs them nothing and I’m sure people on here will buy them… and cafe press also does every other sort of merch.. key rings mugs all kinds.
Then Gimme your idea the band could choose their favourite and send the design to cafe press and it can be made and bought.
They are missing out on free money and cool therapy? items for the fans… the gigs or this site seem to be the only real place to get stuff these days. Also international fans who sadly don’t get T? coming to there county anymore(yet) can buy stuff and spread the word.

Re: Worst Therapy Album in General Therapy? Topics
I voted for HA, I don’t mind shameless… it does have some duff tracks, but i enjoyed it when it came out and the live shows were some of my fav. HA was the only album i was disappointed with on first listen, i like it now but the mix is horrible too much compression.. Chris Sheldon did the same with the second biffy album. I didn’t see anything challenging about the record and i could quite happily never hear the song Rust again my least favourite T? track by a country mile.
But if it’s there worst album then it just shows how good the rest of the catalogue is.

They did do some fan club gigs years ago which was cool.. I remember going to Newport to see them it was when they became a four piece and before Semi came out. The tickets were free:D

@Gimme.. what the fuck does pwned mean, is it a chess term… as I’m more a fan of tiddly winks?

And your point being what?… if I hadn’t have gone to the page I wouldn’t have posted it here for peeps to see.. if you wish I won’t bother next time.
Also why the big smile, you haven’t actually said anything amusing.. you’ve done your usual of pointlessly quoting something, trying to make a joke and then failing.

Can you not burn an audio cd of the tracks on the original computer and then you play it on your CD player and cut out the computer completley? Also you can then re-import the tracks as any format you wish if you have an MP3 player.
Don’t know if that is any help?

Don’t think so, the universal website doesn’t say they are or the spitfire one.
One thing that is really fucking shit about the spitfire site is that they haven’t updated the Therapy? page since 2003… so anyone checking that site will think they haven’t done anything in 4 years. That is frankly crap, have they never heard of promotion or marketing? I do sort of wish they got a new label.. i sometimes find they hinder the group and their releases reaching the full potential that they have…is it just me?

well, great just 4 videos that aren’t on scopophobia! however created this dvd must be a complete idiot! how can you sell a dvd with almost the same stuff that’s on scopophobia? and then they wonder why nobody buys the stuff!
Then can sell it because one was released by Spitfire and they just licenced the Universal Vids off them and this one is brought out just by Universal hence the extra videos that they own. They don’t care if there is already a DVD with these things on.. record companies spend their life repackaging the same things over and over again… as it’s easy money and people do seem to buy it.

Re: new DVD? in General Therapy? Topics
If it’s on Universal, then it’s highly unlikely to be anything from 99 onwards as other record labels would own the footage rights… and are Universal going to want to shell out to buy it off other labels or share the profits?
It sounds more like a quick buck off some archive stuff they have.
