I’m really not sure anymore… i love Anthrax, bush era is the best by far but the joey stuff was something of my youth. Basically they should have not stopped for the easy money, i have no real opinion on the new bloke as i feel they are trying to hard. I will buy the album and see but i think they have fucked themselves a bit.

They are indeed, they started the same time as the Norway bands and were signed to Mayhems label… they just add twist to it all, i think they are pretty good. I like something a bit different.

Sigh = Black Metal but prog/avant-garde and in Japanese… sounds fucking awful doesn’t it :D

The Damnation festival has a good line up… Sigh would be worth checking out.

Finally got the Heartwork re-release The Doco is really good, and i really like the demos.. i guess they are limted in what extras as they don’t seem to have much achive stuff a gig would be good. Its a bit irritaing that you have to watch the last three parts first before they bring out the first two albums. It would have been nice to has them in order but oh well.

Short answer is yes… now that Phil is pretty much sober they are a fucking good band with a singer who can sing. Saying that even when he was fucked they were good. Worth seeing anyway as you never know how long it will be till they tour again.

So they are calling the new album “Death Magnetic”… its more personal opinion but that’s a pretty shit title. The bits and pieces i’ve heard so far have been promising so i can let it go. :)

Very true, its quite sad at times as its meant to be “the” metal festival but thats one thing is lacks.. i do have problems with them putting too many bands on the main stage in one day as well… Satyricon played one year and the crowd was loving it but they had such a short set that they played four songs… its just pointless. the old monsters of rock was good as they all got a resonable amount of time each.

the line up is pretty shithouse… the last time i went it was good, too many good bands to choose from… and i had lots of fun.. but that may have been more down to booze, friends and other things. Last few years have sucked balls… its a rip off as well.

If i had the money i would happy pay to see the festivals that have Carcass, at the gates and the haunted on… alas not to be.

yeah someone lent me the heroin diaries and the best of… most of the tracks are shit, kick start my heart is a good track though. Still don;t quite see the appeal but hell they are better than poison!

The new album is ok… business as usual really. The two before are far better, more energised then they have been in years.. just solid albums. The empire strikes first is the best thing they have done in about 12 years.

Ah wimpy.. you used to get real knives and forks… it was like a poor mans Berni Inn, which really is saying something.

It sort of depends how he drunk or what he is on, i read one book and the writer said he was just a good bloke… but way to intelligent for his own good so gets annoyed and frustrated too quickly and added with booze is very irratic. One of the best live bands i have seen back with the fall heads roll line up, very shambolic but fantastic.. sadly after such a high the fucking magic band came on and bored everyone pissless with there beard stroking music.
