@ dennis: yeah, the solo-track is my ego-trip … haha! my band is very very democratic, even when it comes to the songwriting, so sometimes it’s kinda nice to work out everything alone without making compromises …

oh man i hate benante and ian for getting those two dudes back and kick out bush and caggiano instead. i though the last line-up was killer, so was the “we’ve come for you all”-record …
i will not buy any release by the “new old” line-up …
i hope bush brings back amored saint, or maybe he should start a band with caggiano, joey vera and some good drummer.

all of those albums jobrock mentioned are great. SONIC EXCESS and ODD FELLOWS REST are the masterpieces in my opinion. “lasting dose” and “planets collide” are two of my all time favourite songs.
the link between down and crowbar is not only that phil anselmo produced the selt-titled crowbar album, it’s much more kirk windstein, who’s the mastermind behind crowbar, and he’s also been a member of down ever since. plus, the first bass-player for down, todd “sexy t” strange, was a member of crowbar for a long time …
