Wall of Mouths

It’s a narrow market for this guitar, outside of novelty appeal, honestly. Think about it.

Being able to tune a guitar has, in my opinion little to nothing to do with ‘talent and musicianship’ - but the ability serves as a mark of experience.. you pick up the ability as you make music, in a similar way as you improve your handwriting when you write a lot of stories. An upcoming songwriter who wants to play the guitar won’t start with a multi-thousand guitar, really. So, by the time they get to such budgets they can already tune their instruments without robotic interfaces.

This is just for really rich people who are just starting out and are intimidated by the mere concept of tuning their instruments. So, it’s not something that adds anything to the ‘market’ at this point. Maybe when it becomes only a little bit more expensive than an ‘oldschool’ manual-tune guitar? Personally, I don’t see it as a hindrance to avantgarde musicianship, if you’re going to break the rules it’s actually a good thing to first know what they are..
