Re: T? support New Model Army in Cologne (22.12.2007) in Therapy? Live

‘nother thing, just to induce wariness - what exactly does the ‘special guest’ thing mean? Is T? gonna play a set, or molest NMA’s instruments on stage? There’s also an ‘opening act’ on the schedule. What does it mean? What is it all about, really?

(The gig is on the ‘Tour’ page though, so don’t get too scared by this spontaneous drivel.)

Re: T? support New Model Army in Cologne (22.12.2007) in Therapy? Live

vagabond : I would estimate it’ll be around 36 including booking costs, if you book up front. The funny thing with all the ticket service options tend to be that the price might get lower depending on where you get the tickets, but the booking costs will compensate so that it’s pretty much the same again. I’m guessing 32-36 no matter what you do.

In the US it’s far worse of course - there it tends to be 150% service costs over the actual ticket price. Lots of talk about ‘service’ there on the ticket. :P

Re: neil isn“t that good i think in Therapy? Live

All good drummers are machines. When one slips up it’s not a mistake, I assure you. It’s engine failure.

Re: Canada show??? (usa wombles) in Therapy? Live

I’d recommend you post around in the Live forum as well, I doubt you’re alone. :)

Re: Therapy? in Kiev !!! in Therapy? Live

Hah, cool!

Has T? ever played there before? (Not the venue, but the proximity.)

Re: Amsterdam show live on internet! in Therapy? Live

Quote (author unknown):

Is it just me or could they drop Stories, Die Laughing and Isolation, even just once, to play some other stuff. Off Baby Teeth or Pleasure Death for instance?

Personally I’d be delighted to get spared of Screamager altogether. I dont mind Stories though, they dont play it every time.

You know, I dont think Therapy? realize they can get away with it.. sure they’re the ‘hits’ from the only real ‘hit’ album, but although Troublegum is still a fan-favorite, they hardly play a popular-hit-only crowd.. the’re almost underground (again). The solution is quite simple if you feel the ‘gum quota has to be maintained; just play a different song off of the album. Plenty to choose from.

Re: Amsterdam show live on internet! in Therapy? Live

Billy, you missed one song I believe. They started with Potato Junkie and then moved to Stories.. unless I’m really much too drunk to keep a track of the finer linings of memory.

Anyway, I think it was a fine show.. they got into it halfway and made the last 8-some songs really count. I loved the performance of Sprung and Walk through Darkness, although I feel kind of pathetic for watching this over the internet (all the people who travel across borders to get to gigs may hate me now). I hope they’ll do a gig at ‘Paard’ in the hague so that I can walk around the corner to attend.

Spoiled bastard signing out.

With enough therapy(?) it’s all possible :>

Re: Furia Fest Cergy in Therapy? Live

I’d say no, cause it isn’t at the ‘Tour’ page. If it is confirmed it should be written there soon.

Funny, I was thinking of the nov 22nd gig aswell. They were really on fire on that show.

Sorry to hear about your health problems, Shade. Hope it works out for the best, because it would be pretty shit if you won’t be able to go to gigs anymore.

It’s just one of those sad realizations you get shoved in your face. I thought I could cope with it, but it only got worse. It wont be a question of ‘will I get better?’ but rather ‘will I be stubborn enough to still go, regardless of consequences?’.

Without answering that’s more drama than you can shake a large pitchfork at. Heh, fuck that. They’ll just have to play more The Hague gigs. Thanks muchly for the kind words. Really. Consideration meets kindness makes my day anytime, even when it enters without hope of reperation.

As for the setlist, yes, it’s great. Only thing I dislike are the large amount of Troublegum songs.. but they’re kind of forced to play those - so nothing to whine about. Except Knives I guess, which ironically I find more than forgivable ;)

YEAH! I be gettin’ me one of those.

Oh, and when you said that there was a black T-shirt with the ablum cover, and one with the title, are you sure that wasn’t the reverse of the same T-shirt?

There’s one black one with yellow font saying “Never Apologize Never Explain” with a gemil through it on the front, and THERAPY? in yellow on the back.. and another with the Album cover on front, same colour pallete.

Re: New tour merchandise in Therapy? Live

Hah that website exclusive t-shirt looks awesome. Maybe awesome is not the best word.. how about Ramonesesque?

Re: T? in Utrecht in Therapy? Live

Awesome gig. Do think it might be my last.. it’s not doing any wonders for my health (and I’m not talking about mental health, any kind of therapy would not be able to mend that mess) the only T? gig I haven’t been coming home from with massive migraine was the one at het Paard, which is scarily near to my appartment.

Dont think anyone really cares, noone knows me here in the genuine sense of the word, but I dont know.. felt I should say it anyway.

Perhaps it could change, but yesterday I’ve spent 3 hours trying to sleep, but it was undoable. Had to force myself to puke to grant my head the peace to add only one more before the mission accomplished signal.

Re: Welsh date ? in Therapy? Live

It’s all a venue promoter crap issue, nothing else. Besides, they’re doing a good amount of british shows.. why wait for them to come to your province?

Re: Little tounges First in Therapy? Live

Sister’s great yes, but they’ve played that the first leg and all.. so it’s okay. But I’d kill (only assholes, dont worry) to hear Jam Jar Jail live ;)

Re: T? in Den Haag in Therapy? Live

I’m sure it was Meat Abstract, not Nausea.

And you’re the second to talk about Dancin’ with Manson, now I’m really starting to get scared.. did I spend 5 glorious minutes passed out?

Re: N.A.N.E. tour part 2 - setlists? in Therapy? Live

Now I really feel like a stoner. You guys must be playing a trick of some sort. Nausea? DWM?

I can understand the latter.. keep his spirit up or somewhat, but where was Nausea? Did I drop k.o. at that part?

Re: N.A.N.E. tour part 2 - setlists? in Therapy? Live

Too bad for you none of those is added, BUT, there is an extra song of both Nurse and Babyteeth in there.

Re: T? in Den Haag in Therapy? Live

Oh yeah, just got home. No doubt I’m one of the first as the venue is right around the corner of my appartment.

What an awesome show. Excellent set list change (not that the previous one was bad, but I was honestly pleasantly surprised with each ‘new’ song).. and it was even Michael’s burpday.. aint that cute?

Now begin the regeneration of my ears please.

Re: T? in Den Haag in Therapy? Live

Well, as I live right around the corner (nyah!) I might as well stroll in for a T? gig..

I’ll be on the balcony this time too. Last show cost me my shoes :P

Re: Amsterdam - Melkweg 22 Nov in Therapy? Live

I’m terrible at keeping up with fora, but I just had to register to say that this was quite probably the best gig I ever witnessed.. not just talking about T? shows.

That was awesome.

Apparently I just signed up for confirming with the general concencus that Therapy? rocked, but I can’t say I blame myself.
