Re: Poll of the best Therapy? albums. in General Therapy? Topics

o/` Suicide pact, suicide pact - you first!

After that it gets a bit too complicated for me.. probably a toss between NANE and Babyteeth. Or Infernal Love maybe.. aargh. Nevermind.

Re: Songs T? should play live… in General Therapy? Topics

I’d worship them for real if they’d play Suing God live. Oh and aslong as we’re talking about complete fantasy we might aswell include Jam Jar Jail and Totally Random Man.

And while they’re covering Joy Divison slip in The Kill, thank you ;)

Re: So much for the 20 year plan in General Therapy? Topics

Awesome made up titles so far, I must say.

My choices :

Shameless : This One’s For You, I am the Money.
HA : If it Kills Me, Limbo.
NANE : Die Like a Motherfucker, Polar Bear.
SMFT20YP : Mister Happy Bear, Permission to be an Asshole.

With titles like that you genuinely dont have to hear the actual songs anymore :>

mmm, it’s a good song & i like their work, but after i met the band (esp. the singer) at a festival i organised last year, i just can’t listen to them anymore. they’re just so arrogant

anyway, of course i’d rather have seen Tpy? top the chart but yeah…

It’s easy to be spoiled with sensible behaviour when you’re used to Therapy? isn’t it? - And on the topic; if the guys would be more arrogant (and make more universally liked music) they’d surely top the charts and all that crap.

But at what cost? And ultimately for what? Sure, if the music they want to make happens to be all that popular; power to them. But to the people that appreciate them it’s a matter of indifference.

Just had to say that I suppose :>

Re: Favorite T?- song title/album title in General Therapy? Topics

‘Suicide Pact - You First’ must be one of the most brilliant album titles ever used.

As for my favorite song titles, well, I’ll confess I think there’s not much difference between them. The qualities lie elsewhere when it’s not a particular clever one.. I really like the dry rage of ‘Stop It You’re Killing Me’ too though!

Re: Rise Up Video in General Therapy? Topics

Had to request it on the box (dutch request site) on wednesday evening and then tape it. Of course there’s no use waiting for someone else to request it.. *sigh*

Re: Rise Up Video in General Therapy? Topics

It’s a black and white performance video of Therapy? in an abandoned factory. It features some fairly interesting close ups and video angles, but nothing groundbreaking.

Re: Best most recent Therapy? album in General Therapy? Topics

For me it’s NANE by a longshot. The raw sound is priceless, and the songs are very powerfull. Polar Bear alone is enough to shatter the competition, though the allround quality is decisive for me too.. HA and Shameless had alot of great songs but also a few ‘lesser’ tunes, whilst in comparison NANE has maybe 1 not-so-awesome song.

I wonder what the next album will sound like though, as a Therapy? fan you’re never bored.

Re: End of the Year in General Therapy? Topics

I’m really glad that there’s atleast one great band still bringing out albums all the fucking time.

Re: Amsterdam - Melkweg 22 Nov in Therapy? Live

I’m terrible at keeping up with fora, but I just had to register to say that this was quite probably the best gig I ever witnessed.. not just talking about T? shows.

That was awesome.

Apparently I just signed up for confirming with the general concencus that Therapy? rocked, but I can’t say I blame myself.
