Re: DRY RISE in Other Bands & Artists

Title: NEW TRACKS NOW ONLINE

As mentioned in my previous post, there are now 2 new tracks listenable on our myspace.

Check them out on http://www.myspace.com/dryriseband

(one of the tracks “Dragging Through” is a Kerbdog cover!)

If you havent heard us before, Dry Rise are influenced by bands like Nirvana, InMe, Silverchair, FFAF, Therapy, Kerbdog, Metallica to name but a few…

Hope u like! If you do, please let some other people know who might enjoy them :)

Do you guys have an album in the works by any chance…i DO like that cd and…its too short! i want more:p
http://www.cdbaby.com is a great place for indy bands to sell their music by the way…

Well, Dry Rise are an unsigned band at the mo so there are no concrete plans for any “proper” release.

Our current aim would be to get an indie label to put out a single, see how it does, then go from there to an album.

And Jut - there are a further 3 tracks available for free on http://www.dryrise.com - “The Big I Am” (as seen on Scuzz/ May 2004 Rock Sound mag CD) is on the MUSIC page, and if you sign up to the forum you can get SHATTERED and MY ADVICE.

All are free and CD quality, engineered by John Mitchell (Funeral For A Friend, Cooper Temple Clause) :D

Cool man, glad you got a CD. We were meant to bring 100’s but never had time to do enough of them!

Over-zelous merch girls, fans and band “managers” always make me laugh with their hype :D
