@Gav’ : The gig is rescheduled the next 3rd of April ( good it’s on a Sunday,I’ll take my day off for the next day :) )at Le Bataclan,which is as nice as l’Elysee Montmartre ( maybe smaller about the capacity but not sure ) but it’s a more comfortable venue.Also a good place for a T? gig again :)

Unfortunately, “L’Elysée Montmartre”,this mythic room in Paris,burnt for a big part,yesterday…:( …Maybe “La Cigale” or “Le Bataclan” would be good for a change…

Vanessa is not the 15 year old Teenage girl anymore singing awkwardly “Joe le Taxi”…Her recent stuff are quite acceptable and she’s now respectable with her famous husband :D…Some French Baby rockers ( BB Brunes or Plasticines ) would be good support acts,They would learn from The T? dudes how to kick ass on stage ;)

A chance to see the Kyuss former members performing together for one or 2 songs ? I really doubt as I know the “Ginger Elvis” position about that…

Yeah,The old way to buy tickets could be fairer by queuing in the line ( “first arrived first served” ) …the bad thing is that wouldn’t be good for people who won’t be able to take a break during their worktime to go to tickets sellers.A friend of mine posted this on the QOTSA facebook page,it is what the Arctick Monkeys did to “fight” the scalpers.I don’t know if it will be the more the efficient way but for sure,it will limit the risks :

“This is a concert for fans only and the following rules are in place to ensure that tickets do not get sold on and fans do not pay a higher price for their tickets.

The lead booker will be asked to present the card used during the booking to gain entry into the venue. Failure to do so will result in the customer being turned away and no refunds will be issued. There are no exceptions to this rule.

The surname of the lead booker and the last four digits of the card used to make the booking will be printed on each ticket. The surname and card details cannot be changed once the booking has been made.

If you are booking more than one ticket your guests must arrive at the concert at the same time as you. Failure to do so will result in the guests being turned away.

All tickets will be scanned at the entry to the concert.

Tickets cannot be resold or transferred under any circumstances. If See or SJM Concerts reasonably believe this to be the case the barcode on the ticket will be invalidated, prohibiting entry to the concert.

@Gav’ : I Read somewhere that for the S/T Album tour,they wanted to perform in smaller places for the intimate atmosphere…and I guess for the London date it would be special as it will happen for Josh’s B-day…if you combine that with the fact they’re getting more and more popular…About buying tickets online in the UK and Ireland ( you can tell me if i’m wrong or not),someone told me that people are not really “limited ” about the number of tickets they’d like to buy ( 12 by credit card ) and The Big Events agencies take advantage of this through their software by ” spying” ( buying tickets by dozen ) and then sell them twice or three time the price…Here for the French dates ( Paris and Strasbourg),it was quite easier we were limited to 4 tickets by credit card and they were on sale by 2 following “waves” the same day…you just had to be patient (and fast for sure…)…And apparently for the Brussels date,the best way to get a ticket was to queue in front of the venue when they began the sale,for what I heard

What a pity Alan :(…I managed to get tix for the Paris date…guess I’m lucky cos’ it’s already Sold Out (maybe still some tickets for seats on sales on the balcony…) I’ve been attempting to get tickets for Brussels…The site of the Venue exploded !!!! ” Onze server is overbelast” they say…

I don’t regret again tripping from France to see T? in Brussels for the 2nd time :) .I’ll have on my mind great memories from this show…I was glad to see again some familiar faces : Roxy ( all my best wishes for the happy forthcoming event ),Robby,Gie,An,Jan ( hope your knuckles feel better now … ;) ) ,and even jeffq I haven’t seen in ages :) …Yeah,there were some very agressive guys on the pit,But on the whole,there were rude but correct people…

I think I’ll spend a nice week “Chez mes voisins Belges” ^^ …I’m wondering if I’ m going to make a “2 gig” in a row at the AB as my “young” compatriots BBB and Plasticines ( a way to support the french Rock scene xD )will play at the AB,the day before T? …Anyway,let’s book the travelling thing and hotel !!!!

Ah no no our way back last time,it was ok :P …I was just a bit nervous when we took a rest in the belgian countryside in middle of nowhere ( though I don’t remember if it was in North of France ) ,sleeping with one eye opened…I’ve just seen that the French “Babies” Rockers BB brunes and Plasticines ( a big deal they are in France )are scheduled at the AB the day before T?…I predict a french invasion from Crazy French Kids,who will litteraly smash and destroy the Venue…it is quiet worrying for the T? gig the next day :D

Ah A crazy trip to Belgium again with mr Zozone planned again from France and it’s on a Saturday …Royal !!!!!!!!^^

The entire name of the town is ,IMHO, “Salon de Provence” for the first Date .

For Lyon date,the venue was apparently “Le Transbordeur”…
