I’d be well pleased to catch one of Tommy’s plectrums too by the way :D He is a good live performer.
Damn,Sammy, I could have caught on Sunday night and given you one : when the lights came back, with my friend we were chatting,as I was so happy to get one and suddenly a dude running to us shouting “excusez moi, excusez moi” .I thought he was looking for his underpants or so …But He took from the ground another Tommy’s Plectrum really next to my foot  …And no chance for me, for Yesterday night at “L’Elysée Montmartre” The dude from whom I could get a ticket for cheap finally changed her mind and used it for going there …so I couldn’t fight for another Plectrums battle :D …
Here are some Vidz, I found on the net,e from le Bataclan gig,the sound and image ‘s quality could appear rougher than yours :

Re: Ministry in Other Bands & Artists
Ah Just came back from their gig in Paris…I haven’t imagined before that a ministry gig was so athletic as it was the first I had seen them live (I removed tons of sweat from my skin :D ) .
I managed to catch a plectrum that Tommy Victor (an amusing and amazing guy during all the gig BTW)threw to the crowd, first I couldn’t check it as we were in the black but once outside the venue,I noticed that it was designed and personnalized especially for him …I was very happy to get one :) (I know it sounds childish) .
And compared to the setlist posted by mr self destruct,They played Louis Armstrong’s What a wonderful world instead of Under My Thumb tonight.

Re: Ministry in Other Bands & Artists
I’m gonna see them tonight at “le Bataclan”,Paris with a good friend of mine…And as Mr “Buck Satan”,with his band, is doing People of Paris the honour of playing 2 gigs in a row,I may go to the second gig at “L’Elysée Montmartre”.
Except’ Rio Grandé Blood, I haven’t listened much to their earlier stuff to “revise” for months (or even for years)…

Oh what I read there :
http://www.noisemag.net/?p=1313
and confirmed by the official website :
http://www.killingjoke.com/killingjoke_home.html
The Original Line-up (Jazz,Geordie,Youth,Ferguson) will make a kind of “Reunion” and for what I understood :
-A new album is on the way this summer
-They’ll play 2 following nights in each town they’ll be : the first night, the set will be composed with tracks of their first 2 albums and the second one, they’ll play tracks from their singles from 1979 to 1989,published on Island record company in addition to “Pandemonium”
@interzone : allez ramène toi,faut qu’on se les fasse ces 2 cerconts à Paris le 26 et 27 Septembre prochains :D

Re: U23D in Other Bands & Artists
Dennis - In France, there are some previews next Friday in 8 “cinemas” ( one in a different town in France) at ,which own the IMAX equipement in 3D,so the customers need some special Glasses and then it will be on big screens in those 8 “cinemas” from the 5th of March to 2nd April. These 8 “cinemas” will make you pay the same price and schedule the daily sessions at the same hours…As far as I’m concerned,I’m tempted to go and see it,but if I do,I’d better do it at the end of March in order to avoid the hystery of some French fans, who’ll surely go in a massive way for the first dates…

Re: Carcass in Other Bands & Artists
Read on a french speaking Arch Enemy french fans’forum,it’s from a dude who talked to Angela Gossow and Mike Amott during the “black crusade” tourdate in Paris:
“J’ai demandé à angela et michael amott ils m’ont tous les 2 dits qu’ils allaient revenir en avril, mais angela m’a dit que ce serait surement au bataclan..
Pour le festival hellfest fin juin angela m’a dit que carcass allait jouer à la place d’arch enemy…”
So ok I think nobody here will understand as well the “Molières” tongue  so the main things are :
-The dude was told that Arch Enemy would come back in Paris next April surely as headliner
-Angela Gossow told that Carcass would play at the hellfest festival (in France) at the end of June instead of Arch Enemy
Infos checked on the festival website:
http://www.digitick.com/ext/hellfest/metal/index.php?p=6
So maybe some hopes for other dates in other countries :)

Re: Joshua Tree Reissue in Other Bands & Artists
Ah,Yeah a nice idea for my X-mas :) .I agree with Dennis about Exit as masterpiece,it kicks ass on the “Rattle and Hum” movie and I’ll also add “Bullet the Blue Sky” ,covered years ago by Sepultura, who IMHO,didn’t play it as heavy and good as the original version or even the way U2 used to play during the Zooropa tour ( a roof for such a heavy metal band :D).
I’ve Just seen that the full concert DVD from the Joshua Tree Tour would be the one which took place at The Hippodrome of Paris (to be confirmed for sure) in July 1987.I got a bootleg of it,and it’s the one with the “tear gas’incident…

Re: RIP Paul Raven in Other Bands & Artists
Sad news indeed…So that happened during the recording process of the forthcoming Treponem Pal’s Album?I didn’t even know that Marco reformed “Trepo”, which is of secondary importance now …Paul was a great bass player.Saw the man once, with KJ in Paris in 2003,rocking on stage …I’m choked…

Re: Prong in Other Bands & Artists
@Darryl :don’t know much about JLC since he’s not a big deal here in France ,just found that vid :
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RwMeZ_8RLkE
I also didn’t get any similarities with Tommy Victor’s vocal lines…
Poor Tommy :( ,he would have been more flattered to see his singing to be compared to Jaz Coleman’s one :D

Re: Prong in Other Bands & Artists
don’t much about their earlier stuff : Primitive Origins (1987) and Force Fed (1988) ,but I listen from time to time to “beg to differ”, and IMHO,I find it good, but my fav’ ones are “Cleansing” and “Rude Awakening”,don’t know if it’s because of Paul Raven’s ( Killing Joke,Ministry,…) thick sound bass which brings some “groove” on them.I can’t tell about “Scorpio rising”,cos’ I haven’t the time yet to listen to it seriously. But their Live Album “100% ” or so is great.
