Burning Heads,a french skatecore band,which will play with the boys at la Réunion is a better choice :cool: ,though I haven’t listened to them for at least 5 years :rolleyes: but they made a nice cover of the XTC’s song “Making plans for Nigel” :).

For a support act,heard about an irish band called Glyder or the Glyder (Rock stuff “a la Thin Lizzy”).I read an interview of that band, in which they said they would tour for T? in 2006,thing that,apparently, never happened…

it’s a free discussion as you’ve said so here are my thoughts after reading all these posts :
- I think Colin reacted like this because he’s exasperated by posts of some of you,who seemed to misread,misunderstand or not to want to understand words,ideas developped by him,soul soubt,spaceball 1 and others ,with whom I totally agree …In a way I’m also exasperated like him
- for talking about that in private with Alan,a real devoted irish fan ,(sorry Alan,If you are not keen on me taking some of your words,I apologize in advance )who said that T? were very popular in Ireland in 1994/1995 but they had dissappeared from the spotlight since and there were still some loyal fans like him,but not enough it seems…So is it the real state of their “their biggest enclave of support”?I had a look on that website :

the artists in your charts are more “Rock n’Roll” than in my Country,France,but no trace of T? in there or I have to change my glasses…
- your local promoters…Do you remember T? cancelled their participation to Phil Lynott commemoration gig at The Point in Dublin in August 2005 because of the attitude of the promoters?it seems that “Patriotism” doesn’t exist for some promoters in your country to support “local” bands…Buisness is buisness…Money has no country home…
- This is a part of the Andy’s answer ,on the Wom through a René’s post to an American fan who complained that the band didn’t release their albums and tour as currently as possible in his country.The dude,that I salute :), has calmed down since and has understood why both things were difficult to realise…:
