Re: A Brief CracK Of Light in General Therapy? Topics

I kind of feel bad that ive listened to this album so much and still not actually purchased it yet, lyrically it explores alot that really resonates with me and that im finding alot of meaning to in combination with the atmosphere its taken in musically. which is no small feat to me nowadays as ive sort of became disenfranchised to feeling that connection to anything musically, fair fucking play to therapy? i really cant describe it much more beyond mind blowing. restoring my faith in alot of things.

Re: A Brief CracK Of Light in General Therapy? Topics

anyone had any luck finding it in a record shop? (they still exist)

tried my local indie shop and was told they havent had it in yet because of weather causing some of their delieveries to be delayed

and hmv told me they’re getting it in tommorow.

Re: A Brief CracK Of Light in General Therapy? Topics

It is for me, i have spotify premium free with my virgin media internet though so maybe its only available to premium users.

aint going to leave comments on the album till ive listened to it more than once and in better quality (ie when i get it on cd,) but my opinion of it after that one listen is very high

Re: Mobile Phones / UK Providers in Chit-Chat

HTC phones are banging, i had a desire and now have a sensation and couldnt ask for any more from a phone, apart from maybe better battery life. Android destroys Ios.

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live

gunna get a bristol ticket tommorow, and one for manchester or london or leeds - gunna see how much train tickets for 3 months from now are, put trainfare somewhere safe then set a reminder on my phone for 3 months prior to gig date so i can order and get cheap train tickets

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live

bristol for sure, will purchase a ticket as soon as i have some money , might venture to another show too seeing as tickets are so cheap and theres plenty of time till the gigs meaning cheapest possible train tickets will be sortable.

Skindred are one hell of a live band, saw them twice (must have been back in like 2006) but i never really got too in to their post ‘babylon’ albums, does anyone know if they play much from the debut nowadays

Re: Failed first year at uni in Chit-Chat

i’ve failed my first year twice in a row, no regrets at all, had a good time and student loans much much easier than dealing with the patronizing buggers at the job center.

at the end of the day, uni teaches you alot of valueable life skills, learn how to find your own feet and helps you grow as a person, none of that is done in the classroom though.

Re: Which cities should T? tour next year if you could wish? in Therapy? Live

hopefully some more south wales gigs, shame tjs is shut. another Swansea gig would be cool as fuck, shame sin city has gone to the shitter since one of the unis bought the club, ideally i’d love to see them play at Monkey Bar in the upstairs room, but live gigs there are a rarity which is a shame as its a much better venue than sin shitty. fuck it being a bit fussy here, wherever they play anywhere between Swansea and Bristol i’ll be there.

Re: Levellers in Other Bands & Artists

not a huge fan or such, but have a soft spot for a fair few of their songs, i always used to love when they’d come on on the pub jukebox and all the oldies would burst in to kareoke, i even joined in once or twice.

Re: New album video update Jan 2011 in General Therapy? Topics

for those who fail to see the dubstep influence take a look at this band who do “live dubstep”

fast forward to about 2 minutes if the intro isnt your thing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbHzdG2bR1A&feature=related

thats what an attempt at doing dubstep in a rock setting sounds like, now can you see that therapy? have quite a clear dubstep influence in a lot of their recent material?

Re: New album video update Jan 2011 in General Therapy? Topics

:O off this clip i get the impression its going to be like n.a.n.e crossbred with crooked timber with a bit of a fugazi influence. loving that the dubstep influence seems like its going to be even stronger.

in to the last track on the clip the most so far

Re: Interview with Michael and Andy in General Therapy? Topics

What does come across in a creeps? You took three concerts, organized especially for the recordings, and what do you do next? You’re still a big pile of pictures to select from.

Michael: That was a little weird, yes. We had a list of the songs on a blackboard, and our first thought was “Fuck, what are we talking about that?”. The strangest was yet to select the correct versions. Sometimes you just hear someone very loud “Fuck!” into the mic calling, or are swearing all the time during a song. One guy was a loud clap their hands, we got him “Johnny Big Hands” called. Every time a song is over, you hear it very loudly blows through everything. And you can not just wegmixen, because then hit everything out of balance. There were a lot of disturbed people during those shows.

ahhhhhh, googles chrome in built translator sucks balls.
