Yeah it is different. Andy recorded it in standard tuning and as you said; it IS a tone higher than the album version.

NANE all the way baby. It’s one of the best things they’ve done in years; I was hoping OCFA would go down the same route; but it was a very different sound on the whole; I must admit, I don’t listen to it very often.

NANE is a really dirty, nasty sounding record and the guitar sound is immense.

They NEED a second guitarist for live stuff. I have to say, the times I saw them as a four piece live were much better than the recent shows..

I can assure you the album has been mastered; it’s loud as hell!

I always thought the production on OCFA was very good, nice modern crisp sound.

I think just the main rhythm components were recorded live, and then Andy would have overdubbed various guitars.
