I’m gutted. Truly gutted. I only started going to T? gigs in 1998, so for me, Martin was as much a part of Therapy? as Andy and Michael. Given that only a week ago Martin was saying he’s ready to rock again, and “no doubt” will be on tour, i can only assume that he’s leaving the band against his wishes.

Either way for me now, after 57 Therapy? gigs in the space of 6 years, i shall now no longer be going to live shows. I have a ticket for Norwich in May, and i shall go for one last time.

For me, the shows without Martin when he was ill were just not right. They were flat and lacking the extra depth Martin brings to the the band.

All good things must come to an end.

They used to be on Sky Digital, but he told me they’d had financial problems and so had to pull the plug on the Sky feed, so they’re now only available on the net.

It was really weird to see him on the tv though, but brilliant all the same.

His Meatloaf impression was quite funny, and his comment about The Chippendales single is unrepeatable…

Title: Diamond Dave on TV (merged)

what the hell is going on? On Channel 4 tonight, there was a programme called “The worst 100 pop records” and one of the people commenting was our old friend Diamond Dave. He was in the first five minutes, so he might appear some more later. it gave me a bit of a shock.

The lads are doing a great job in continuing the tour, but Rock City and Wolverhampton gigs sounded weird with only one guitarist. Just like the old days.

Ordered mine from DVDPopcorn, they shipped it a week early, and it was only £12.75. Sounds like the big players (amazon & blackstar) don’t give a toss about decent customer service

Is Diamond Dave doing the merchandise again?

The feed is a bit buggered now, but what i could make out is that we’ve just had Dancin’ with Manson dedicated to the members of the wall of mouths message board.

I’d say that was doubtful, given that they’re both fairly big bands, and The Wildhearts are currenttly supporting Motorhead. It’d be great to see though, it’s part of my dream line-up to have T? and The Wildhearts on the same bill.

i say “found”, of course, all you have to do is wait for it to come along

Title: DVD question

Look on the back of your shiny new copy of Scopophobia. On the back of mine, in the smallprint at the bottom underneath the running time, it says Copyright, Zakk Wylde. What the fuck has Zakk Wylde got to do with a Therapy? DVD? or is he something to do with Eagle Vision/Eagle Rock?

Maybe that’s what the delay was, if they had to reprint the sleeve, and i have a misprint.
Any ideas?

I have complete respect for The Darkness. I first heard about them 2 years ago, and they were basically doing “toilet tours” where they travelled the country in a crappy transit van playing shithole venues in front of tiny audiences. Their popularity has come through bloody hard work, and they deserve all the fame and fortune they get. Saw them live in Norwich last week (i resisted temptation to sell my ticket to a bloke offering 100 quid for it outside) and it was a truly amazing show.

I struggled to get into Rico on the start of the SP-YF tour, but after going to my 7th show on the tour, i really started to enjoy his performance. Especially “attack me” wheere he goes a bit mental

It’s taken since 1998, so it’s down to how long the lads keep going as to whether i make it to 100.
