I can’t get enough of these French gigs, especially not after Andy said they’ll change the setlist every night!!! So I’m still looking for a cheaper solution… anyone else from Belgium going (who is also leaving from Belgium)?
The Lemmy from Ireland you’ll mean? Lemmy IS from the UK ;)
Yeah, thanks for correcting…
I was @ work and there was my boss :) and I’m sure he prefer see me working than on this forum lol ;)

Re: T? @la maroquinerie,02/10/2006 in Therapy? Live
maybe the crowd was quieter but it’s not due to the town…because I have seen T? in Marseille and 2 times in Paris for semi-detached and there was headbanging and pogo…
The crowd was quieter because all the kids were in bed, it was monday, and more of that there was the Placebo gig in Bercy.
So everybody that night were here to see his favorite band…there was more mature people than kids. we were captivated by the gig, and the band noticed so they give us a great show.
As of the begining people were sending love by shouting “Andy”. Sign of respect because he is always here since all these years and doing the same kind of music.
Andy the “Lemmy” from U.K ;-) rock on!

Re: T? @la maroquinerie,02/10/2006 in Therapy? Live
It’s sad that we didn’t meet each other but I forgot to went on the forum before the gig.
Yeah Andy is very funny…the “Big Guy” was red like if it was a girl speaking to him and then he turned on himself lol
A friend of mine has seen Therapy? for free this year @ Nice, it was this summer. He told me that Andy presented Michael something like that : “…and on the bass guitar…Barthez” lol
the joke was working, it was during the German Worl Cup period :)
It’s cool because now we know that when we go to a T? gig, we know that we don’t go only to listen to music but to laugh too

Which version of Diane was it, the slow version as per the recorded version or the fast, punky one?
@ la maroquinerie the song was fastest that the original one by “husker du” so it is faster than the recorded one on the “lovely cryin’ only” signle (if my memory is good…)

Walk Throught Darkness in General Therapy? Topics
Title: Walk Throught Darkness
If you enjoy this track, you will probably enjoy “sick & wired” / The Almighty because it’s very similiar…
maybe the fact that Andy & Ricky are friends isn’t a coincidence ?

Re: Graham, Neil or Fyfe? in General Therapy? Topics
FYFE WAS OUTSTANDING !
GROOVY ! Before each chorus of most of the songs (there is like a hole) you want to make a big big big big JUMP !
IMHO, Neil is has a lot of quality (enduring, untiring, sympatic) but soundlike a machine…compared to Fyfe, there is no breath in his style.
it’s ok for the new stuff, but not for the old ones.
I love you nevertheless Neil! if they choosed you this is because you’re the man at the moment!
cheers

Re: Your Amps - Your Sound in Musicians (Gear, Tabs & Lyrics)
forget multi-fx pedals or multi rack effects if you plan to play with friends…these tools are good for home but not for playing in a band.
Use a good amp (Marshall JCM900 or a MESA BOOGIE) and a good guitar (gibson)…and you will have the sound…
if you want some effects, use as many BOSS pedals you need, like Therapy?
You will never had to change something else in your life…just to learn to play ;)
