Re: What’s everybody reading in Chit-Chat
In the middle of reading ” House of Leaves” by Mark Z. Danielewski, really cool and very fucked up story, its a critical essay of a non existent film about some wired house that keeps changing shape and fucking withe the emotions of everyone in it, and also at the same time telling the story of the guy who found the essay and how he’s been going slowly crazy since he started reading it all told through footnotes, and some really cool graphical layout with refwercnes and footnotes in boxes upside down or printed backwars to look like thyve bled through form the previous page, and some other werid and cool stuff like blank spaces in the text where the orignal mauscript had been damaged.

@viking_pooh: How’s the Behringer tuner? I was thinking of getting one of those, if it’s not too noisy.
Its Ace, Just Like a boss tu2 , ive noticed a very slight delay in returning to full volume from bypass mode but noting that really affects it. battery cover is abit awkward to get off but finally sorted myswlef out with power supply, but is noiseless and avaiable for about £20. plastic case but decent quality still. Tu 300 model.

Hetfield is a great, aggressive singer/frontman — just my opinion there — I’ve followed this thread for a while and know a lot of you don’t agree. ..
i totally agree, Hetfield is fantastic singeger, gutiarist and songwriter, especially his voice in moe recent years where is lower and gruffer from years of smoking and touring, he should fuck off and do some solo shows with an acoustic :)

Re: Pitchshifter in Other Bands & Artists
.com is amazing, 10 years on theres still nothing like it. as for the subsequent albums, i love them, Deviant was a step in a punkier direction, whihc really confused me when the guitarist left saying he wanted to play more punk stuff, and PSI starts off abit slow but has some killer songs on it, and also led me to discover the glitchy beatatic Drawbacks as the did some of the programming and have been permanment shifter guitarists since 2003. plus the new songs on the free cd’s given out on the last couple of tours are really promising, big and brutal sounding.
