I MAY have a spare ticket to see the Happy Mondays at the old GMEX (now Manchester Central) on Friday 14th Dec (this Friday) as a mate has to go to his wife’s xmas do instead. I would probably want £20 for it (it cost £35 with the booking fee). I want to guage if anyone would want to meet up before the gig and take my spare. If anyone does and I definately have it then I’ll log on Thursday to arrange the logistics. I know its not exactly T? but I had a bit of an indie side in the 90s too.

Well gang what can I say, 2 hours of brilliance, you could still sense the tension between them both but they rattled off nearly all of 30 summat, some of 101 damnations and a bit of straw donkey. Fat bastard was in tears at the end but still managed to say ’ fk off its all over’ and Jimbobs final parting quote was ‘tell yer kids’ guessed the crowd at 5000 and it was jumping. Didn’t go to watch the sultans of ping before Carter came on…basically cos theyre shyte. Reminded me of the T? night (the same night the Brixton riots 2 were going off outside)… how I miss those noisy days…I NEED MORE THERAPY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
