Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

I’m not sure :( *bursts into tears*

We work very very close to where the gig is, so it has been decided that we can raise loads of money by providing car parking for Robbie fans. Most of the staff are leaving early to avoid the chaos that 80,000 people arriving at the park is going to cause - but as I live within easy walking distance it seemed really mean to say no …

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Bonjour mon petite pois :)

How are we all today? I have inadvertantly signed up to be a ‘voluntary’ car park attendant at the Robbie Williams gig tomorrow :(

I tell you this because I am not allowed to post on the ‘vent your spleen thread :(

Fair enough :) Did he get a good reference?

@ Divers - well I hope you get some local work doing sound stuff, and it doesn’t have anything to do with your reputation as a gay butler :) *crosses fingers*

@ Sam - is that Mark Goodier? I don’t know the first thing about anything to do with radio 1 …

i just need to keep calm about this meeting, i was alright till i got some email this morning and now i’m all over the place.

What is the meeting? Don’t be all over the place, take deep breaths in through your mouth and then breathe really slowly out through your nose. It should calm you down, but if it doesn’t at least you won’t suffocate! :)

Tinne - you are so fickle! :p

Thanks for the txt on Saturday btw, it confused me :)

It was the very last thing i did with that phone before it died completely. The battery won’t charge up at all … :(

Dennis - Hanne’s handbag is one thing, but do you have to do that with my purse?

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Unfortunately Elvis has left the building so you will have to give her a ring yourself.

Hanne - Sorry :( I told everyone that if I was going to buy a hearth rug I wouldn’t have bought a lumpy Hanne coloured one, but I don’t think they believed me …

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Well I would if you’d only stop picking them up and lighting them and pretending you don’t smoke!

Can you really not make it tonight? I don’t want to sit watching Igor and the UFO groping each other!! If there’re 2 of us at least we can crack open some popcorn …

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Hello Hanne :) Think yourself lucky, I have lost all my footprints and now whenever I go anywhere I can’t find my way back :(

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Sarah, it would appear you are being picked up by UFo at 8pm unless you phone and say you don’t want a lift. But I will see you at tea-time anyway :)

It can’t live - it’s just a drink …

I can’t remember what it was called but I bought it in Somerfield if that helps? :)

By the way I have assured your HOD’s that you will be in on Monday. If you know different will you please let me know asap? Ta :)

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Trust me it doesn’t. I have myself have been a victim of flavoured sugar - although to be fair, the amaretto one was very nice in my coffee :)

I’m back at work. It’s harder than I remembered … :(

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Indeed :)

And now I must go - I have way too many things to do and I sense that WP is never going to bring us our dinner :(

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

It probably wasn’t. It was probably someone pretending to be you… Do you remember how crap the board was - anyone could type in any name they wanted! And the way it used to go right of the page if there were too many replies! :D

Yes use yeast. But if it gets out of hand a couple of spoons of yoghourt will clear it up nicely :)

@D - You used to call me ‘Ms Smum’, which was far more respectful :)

@WP - why don’t you get a job cooking? Sounds like something you might enjoy - and of course I would donate my services as chief taster whilst you practice :)

@ Sam - lol - I would love to see your dark side used in Razzle … I can see it now

Can you cook in real life WP? Or are you just a virtual chef? :)

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

Budapest? When will they publish it (if they do)? Or do they just let you know at the time?

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

It means that we are about to feast upon your socks.

In retrospect I retract the ‘observation’.

Congratulations, you can have them back :)

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

For a writer, Sammikins, you can be incredibly inarticulate! :p

Eh?!! what?

edit: I read your page in the Leeds Guide btw. Very professional. Personally I would have liked a little more of your trademark dark and twisted humour :)

That sounds really, really delicious. I mean in real life. Naturally as this is GM I have noticed that you have inadvertantly replaced all of the ingredients with the contents of mr self destructs sock drawer …

Re: Gracious me… in Chit-Chat

@ Tubthumper:

Certainly not!! And yet, in a strange way, most definitely yes. And no.

I am mrs h as well as Hooch’s Mum, I suppose(God it seems weird to be talking factually on GM!!) but as Hooch’s Mum I am not allowed to post on any other threads because I promised Sarah when I first signed up. I think she didn’t want me interfering :(

Then one day I was reading another thread and I became so frustrated because I just had to say something, so I made a second identity so I could post outside of here. All the GMers knew it was me because they have always called me mrs Lobster (your idea I believe :)) or mrs h.
