2)I don’t know what an avatar is. Is it like an aardvark? In which case, I heard they were very violent when cornered so it probably isn’t safe to keep them in such a confined space - you’ll probably find them in Gracious Me though.

3) Because there is no need - it will appear as the next link in the thread so it will logically appear as the reply. You can DIY quotes with a spot of square bracket abuse.

4)if you click on the member name it will show you their profile - if they wish to have emails from the board, you can send a message privately to them from there.
