OK I’ve thought about this a lot and I’m going to have to go for the album that got me into rock and changed my life the most. That would be ‘The Ethereal Mirror’ by Cathedral.

I keep trying but cant think of just one, impossible! Mountain Goats are OK, bit smooth and over-produced for me, I prefer Ben Folds Five as they have a more ‘go for it’ punk approach but I would still listen to this.

I bought a Muse T from a tout for a fiver 10 years ago and it has outlasted all my other band tops, still fits and still has all its colour and its been worn A LOT! I’d rather my money went to the artist and not some dole chav but if they do better quality…

i heard them do MoC on the HA tour I think it was, sounded chilling! Excellent song. I’m not sure I’d describe these songs as ‘ballads’ though just because the pace is slowed on them a bit. I can’t imagine Celine Dion doing Bowels Of Love!
