Re: “A Brief Crack Of Light” cover, tracklisting and release date revealed! in General Therapy? Topics

Think Therapy? albums are the only albums I’ll bother buying in CD format.

If that makes sense (Drunk Colin)

Re: 6 Nations 2012 in Chit-Chat

Dan Tuohy would be a good start, Lenny. Even without my Ulster bias, he’s a top player. The brief clips I’ve seen of the Ireland Wales game, O’Callaghan spent a bitt of time offside staring blankly at rucks

My copy arrived yesterday! Unfortunately being a student I can’t afford any massive sound systems so making do with my laptop :)

It’s immense! The Buzzing is growing on me big style

Re: 6 Nations 2012 in Chit-Chat

I haven’t seen enough of McFadden to comment on him. Although if he keeps Keith Earls ‘superstar’ out of the squad that’s good enough for me. On a serious note, Earls isn’t in the squad due to his daughter being in hospital - hope she and the family are ok.
Scrum half is a problem position for Ireland - and I don’t think Ireland have a solution at the moment. We’ll see how Murray goes, but I think Kidney will go back to Reddan / O’Leary. Marshall for Wolfhounds? Perhaps, but that’s too extreme for Kidney.
Munster are excellent at winning games they have no right to win.
I went to the Ulster QF last year in Milton Keynes v. Saints - great bunch of fans and a top day out, despite the result!

Re: 6 Nations 2012 in Chit-Chat

You’re right, Mr Hoppy, Cave is injured. Spence could also have played a part though.

Only seen a little bit of todays game - will catch it all on iPlayer tomorrow and give a detailed review. Heard Davis’ tackle was a shocker and that Ferris’ yellow was never a yellow!

Marshall will never get into the Ireland first XV / 22. Anyone who watched him play prior to Pienaar’s arrival knows that, although he has his little moments of genius, he’s also prone to making a few howlers and can be a little too keen. He’s matured massively under Pienaar though, and long may it continue from an Ulster perspective.

As for the Ferris / O’Brien issue - they both have their good / bad points. I think Ireland need a ‘proper’ 7 though to really compete internationally.

On a domestic POV (off topic, I know), Ulster have had some top results and were unlucky in Clermont. On the other hand, we’ve lost a couple of games we really should’ve won, considering the calibre of players we have. Leinster are absolutely unstopable. They’ll win the HEC this year.

Re: 6 Nations 2012 in Chit-Chat

Also, I’m extremely disaffected at the Ireland set up. Mainly due to the omission of Dan Tuohy (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVCbUqmyvnE) and Darren Cave

Re: 6 Nations 2012 in Chit-Chat

England don’t know how to play heads up rugby. Aviva Premiership is not the prettiest of leagues.
Scotland can’t score tries.
Tim Visser won’t make a massive difference - they still won’t score many tries
No, Ireland can’t win the 6N. We’re over-rated. Wales or France for me.
Stevie Ferris has been fit pretty much since before Xmas and has been on great form for Ulster. I hope Ireland don’t flog him during the 6N
Italy are improving. After hearing about how England & Scotland played today, they may even beat one of those two teams.

As for the ‘moral victory’, it’s like saying “If my auntie had balls…” - it’s not the case. You can only play what is in front of you!!

Marlow is one of my favourite tracks on the album. Great instrumental.

I’m still waiting on Amazon to dispatch my order before I can enjoy it properly

Took me a few listens to appreciate Get Your Dead Hand Off My Shoulder.. but I really, REALLY love it now. Early contender for favourite track on the album.

As gutted as I am that ABCOL isn’t available on Deezer Mobile now, it’s right that it was pulled down.

I’m not too sure mate, I searched Therapy? and it has most albums (bar Babyteeth, HA, NANE & OCFA). A brief crack of light just happened to be there. Good quality too

The full album is available to stream on Deezer (mobile). I get it free with my Orange phone plan.

One word: immense.

Re: Ginger gig in Bristol in Other Bands & Artists

Joel, think it’s best to let this one go. Ginger has accepted that his behaviour wasn’t on. I’m sure other people have said worse

It’ll be a sad day when I don’t have a T? album to look forward too, really excited to hear how their sound will have evolved. Not convinced by the artwork at the mo, but we’ll see.

This.

Not sure on the artwork myself - but artwork is at the bottom of my list of things to care about

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live

I may or may not have a full time job by this time in a completely different country so I can’t commit to tickets / hotels / trains just yet :(

Re: UK Tour April 2012-CONFIRMED in Therapy? Live

That’s the train I get, Gav.. still takes forever!!

It’s ok - I can tell you every stop on the Blackpool North - Manchester Airport service, including the alternative routes, and even the services up to Glasgow Central & Barrow-In-Furness!

Do you work for the railways, Gav?

Get it sorted lad - there is a train to Leeds from Preston so no excuses (apart from getting home, you’d probably have to stay over).

It’s (almost) quicker to travel from Preston - Manc, Manc - Leeds… that Northern Rail train that runs the Preston - Leeds line goes through some beautiful parts of the Pennines but fuck me it is slow! Had to get that train over many early Saturday mornings for training sessions.. not fun :(

LaFaro are a class act.
Therapy? Were great but the atmosphere was rotten… Probably had something to do with the mental guy stood by me.
Had to leavw before The Answer unfortunately.

Hoping a Manchester show will pop up at some point, would’ve thought o2 Academy would be an obvious one but maybe not!

I’ve only had half a night out in Leeds before and many weekends training there - it’s a nice city though. Met Hotel in Leeds is reasonably priced too and fairly close to train station for those that need a room.
