Re: (I want) T? to Support Motorhead in Dublin. in Therapy? Live
Yes! i am but seeing as Therapy haven’t organised their own headlining gigs in Dublin, i just made the suggestion.
Come on, give me a break!
On another note i’ve just heard that Shane Ward has sold out the point depot 4 nights in a row.
Motorhead tickets have been on sale nearly 4 weeks now and still haven’t sold out the one gig. Even with Therapy on board.
Scary the way the music industry’s fucked.

THE DOOBIE BROTHERS.
LONG TRAIN RUNNING.
would be legendary,
Down around the corner
A half a mile from here
You can see them long trains run
And you watch them disappear
Without love
Where would you be now
Without love
:)
You know I saw miss lucy
Down along the tracks
She lost her home and her family
And she wont be comin back
Without love
Where would you be right now
Without love
:)
Well the illinois central
And the southern central freight
Gotta keep on pushin mama
cause you know theyre runnin late
Without love
Where would you be now - now, now, now
Without love
;)
Well the pistons keep on churnin
And the wheels go round and round
And the steel rails are cold and hard
For the miles that they go down
Without love
Where would you be right now
Without love
Where would you be now
:)

Why do Therapy “fans” only think T? are good enough as supporting acts.
I said “HEADLINE”. maybe AC/DC can lace T?’s boots before they go on stage.

Re: what is ur fav therapy? album in General Therapy? Topics
NANE is only an average album.
Raw, loud, basic rock. Although “The Darkness” sound like wimps by comparison. Therapy? have experimented changing their sound (Infernal Love) but Never Apologise just blasts out the numbers. Plenty of blaspheming, plenty of stop, start guitars; its the perfect excuse for flicking away your dandruff as you launch into your air guitar solo. Perish the Thought boasts the line it could be worse, I could be you. They know what they do well and on this performance they do it better than most.
Most of the songs are of quite even quality… They’re mediocre hard rock with some nice melodies every now and then. There were some good ideas occasionally, but altogether they weren’t enough to save this record from being on the middle stage (average). Most of the songs just didn’t succeed in convincing me. There were few songs I quite liked, but I would have hoped for more.
Production on this album was ok, but it wasn’t great. The mix could have been better and also the mastering needs some improvement. There was some occasional distortion audible, which was a little bit annoying. However, there wasn’t anything extremely wrong about the production (it was just average).

Imagine Boyzone at Donington Monsters of Rock Festival - and you’ll know why people hated Extreme.[/quote]
Excuse me i’ll have nothing bad said about boyzone while i’m here. If you don’t like boyzone then fuck off. they are great representives and embassadors for ireland.
they’ve had more no.1s than T? or extreme will ever have…
Boyzone:
06/10/1994 LOVE ME FOR A REASON
20/04/1995 KEY TO MY LIFE
03/08/1995 SO GOOD
16/11/1995 FATHER AND SON
10/10/1996 WORDS
23/04/1998 ALL THAT I NEED
06/08/1998 NO MATTER WHAT
25/11/1999 EVERY DAY I LOVE YOU
So what if their not originals or if they don’t play their own instruments, they are more successful and respected than Extreme.
Its funny cos its true…

Re: place to stay in Dublin or Belfast in Therapy? Live
If your staying in Dublin check out the Ariel House. Its on Landsdowne road, its only walking distance to the RDS to the download gig.
I think its rates are E85 for the room for the night.
Just tell em you want a corporate rate. best place to stay in dublin, its a guest house i use it for all the concerts i go to in dublin.

Re: T? Play Dublin (Download 09/06/06) in Therapy? Live
Two Northsiders, Anto and Mickser, decided that they weren’t going anywhere in life and thought they should go to college to get ahead.
They head out to UCD Belfield. Anto goes in first, and the professor advises him to take maths, history, and logic.
“What’s logic?” asked Anto.
The professor answered, “Let me give you an example. Do you
own a lawnmower?”
“I sure do,” answered the Northsider.
“Then I can assume, using logic, that you have a back
garden,” replied the professor.
“Jaysus. That’s real good,” the Northsider responded in awe.
The professor continued: “Logic will also tell me that since you have a back garden, you also have a house.”
Impressed, Anto shouted, “AMAZIN’!!!!!”
“And since you own a house, logic dictates that you have a
wife.”
“Sharon! This is incredible!” (Anto is obviously catching on.)
“Finally, since you have a wife, logically I can assume that you are heterosexual,” said the professor.
“Stop da lights! that’s the most fascinatin’ ting I ever
heard of. I can’t wait to get into this logic class.”
Anto, proud of the new world opening up to him, walked back
into the hallway where Mickser is still waiting.
“So what course are ya goin’ for?” he asks.
“Maths, history, and logic,” replies Anto.
“What in the name o’ jaysus is logic?”
“Let me give you an example. Do ya own a lawnmower?”
“No”
(PAUSE)
“Ya FUCKIN queer ya”

Yeah i know and the point isn’t known to have the best acoustics in the world.
Mind you Motorhead will blow the place up with their show.
We don’t have a perfect venue in Dublin.
I was in Vicar St on Sunday to see “The Presidents of United States of America” and the sound quality was pathetic.
Great live (fun) band, ya have to laugh at them.
I always liked Vicar st as a venue but last sunday was a disgrace.
The ambassador i suppose would be next on the list.
But i’m barred after a bust up with security.

Whippish, she has you under the thumb!!
Sure your like all the northsiders i know, they love the northside but given the choice they’d live elsewhere at the drop of a hat.
How,s your D4 accent coming along?
Were you watching the rugger on saturday, oh splended?
Oh i remember a couple of years ago getting out of the Joy and waiting for Leo Burdochs to open for fish and chips.
You know you can smell that fucking chip shop about 1/2 mile away.
longest 14 months of my life.
but worth the wait.
Best fish and chips EVER.
Not a million miles from the auld Cabra is it?

Re: Therapy? GET TO AUSTRALIA PLEASE!!!!!!!! in Therapy? Live
Yeah. Come on Therapy? Play Oz.
Was probably the worst thing about living in Oz is the lack of major gigs.
I remember i went to The big day out last year in Melbourne and seen Slipknot, Beastie boys, System of a down, the hives, the streets, chemical brothers.
You motherfuckers went mad for Slipknot, god if only they sold as many albums as T shirts…
Was really impressed by live performances by the Music, Powderfinger and spiderbait.
But back to the point that was the only proper gig around in Oz, apart from when i seen Cyprus Hill in Brisbane.
Deadly, never been that stoned
