What I find annoying on facebook is friend collectors. They annoy me less on myspace because its less formal and taken less seriously, but on facebook there are certain people who blatently go around adding EVERY name they know, or just people to make them look really “complete” and popular. Or something along those lines.

Sorry if I sound ever so slightly bitter about it.. I’m not, I couldn’t really care - but it sure is a waste of time. What’s worse is being added by family members you basically don’t actually know or haven’t seen in years. Hmmm!

That is a good point. Possibly the case as well.

It is genuinely an odd choice for such a compilation. It is deffo the sort of tune that could turn someone onto the band, so hopefully it will do!

I always find it funny how many compilations there are banging about. I sort of wonder what’s in it for those who put them together… Maybe they do sell well afterall.

This is truly terrible news.

I was thinking about OCFA and it’s production when washing my hair this morning as I do every morning (not think about OCFA)…

Thinking about it one year on with an (ahem) unbiased opinion I think I know where the problem lies for some of you guys. I some of you want the rawest of the raw production, what you see as the “NANE” and “Babyteeth” production. Some of you on the otherhand want T? to get cleaner and more mainstream (mainstream isn’t negative here) ala High Anxiety and S-detatched, and trouble gum (maybe).

I think the production of OCFA strangely tries to pamper to both needs and there lies the problem. To do both isn’t easy.

I hope that shed’s some light on the situation.

Oh and before I get any aggro I like OCFA (especially 2 tracks deluded son and walk through darkness… actually they are head and shoulders above the rest imho)… I also love all the other albums I mentioned.
