True that, not bad choices, not *that* keen on “if it kills me” myself though - I think it would be good for them to have a range of their sound.

In my honest opinion the 4 songs up there at the moment aren’t representin’ them as much as they could.

So what four would you have up there to appeal to as many as possible or whatever, or to get interest for the band?

Personally I’d have…

Deluded son or walk through darkness (off the new album and both uber accessible and strong tunes from the album).

Innocent x or nurse (interesting, not really of a straight genre. 2 of t?’s best songs and from early on in their career.)

Nowhere or Nobody here but us (catchy, awesome.. etc)

and finally

Jude the obscene or bad mother (probably not 2 of their most well known songs but worthy of being put up. Different yet accessible.)

So.. thoughts?

He thinks nowhere and loose are 2 of their best songs (and rightly so) and I think he wishes lonely cryin’ only (in his opinion not mine) came out the same way.

I think the reason he doesn’t like it is similar to “my voodoo doll” .. executed wrongly and didn’t sound like t? to andy yet he liked the potential, lyrics and vocal melody.

Great song, beautiful, one of their best, best song eva, etc.

But I remember reading in the last year on this site that Andy was dissapointed with the song and it didn’t come out the way he (originally?) intended which suprised me somewhat. (Not like say Loose or Nowhere.)

Do you think now the band are in a stable position and (In my humble opinion) a very good position that they could consider re-recording or producing, or even writing the song?

PS - I’ll try and find his comments later on.
