So what’s lowdown on this topic. Over here in Belgium first names for big hot shot summer festivals are seeping through. But where should our favourite lads play this summer? Or does anybody knows a little more then I do?

gotta agree with everything said before. It was one long sweaty hard rocking rollercoaster of a T? gig.

I really appreciate the gesture Michael made by sending the security guy back to his den.

Setlist was totally cool but when are we going to be treated with Hey Satan You Rock? I seem to miss out on all the gigs they play that and it’s really one of my faves.

saw them live last week here in Ghent. They fucking smoke and they’re cool guys. I had a little chat with two of them about the singer’s guitar: a replica of Johnny Thunders’ axe, couldn’t turn my eyes away from it during the whole gig. And it was hot. The girls were not overdressed.

Title: Therapy on Octopus festival

So Andy confirmed on Stubru that they’ll play there (Nivelles, Belgium).

It’s not mentioned on the festival’s site yet.

This site: http://www.festivalnoise.be claims that they’ll play the first day.

Somebody out there can confirm this?

I’d really love to see them do an incredibly loud gig in the Charlatan, a small venue in Ghent. It’s a place with many faces (crappy disco musicdancingbar, gay pick-up place, m’a tu vu hangaround for the unfamous and so on) but their soundsystem is very good for live gigs.

Jesu will play there in a couple of weeks.

Sidilarsen brings a unique blend of electronic music and Metal. It sounds probably corny, I think your thinking Korn or Slipknot or Limp bizkit or even Rammstein but don’t judge before you heard their albums full of danceable and headbanging tunes. Not cheesy at all. Live they rock too, I saw them twice five years ago when I was in Toulouse as a student and those were really amusing gigs.

hmm oktopus my favourite French metallers Sidilarsen will be there together with my fave French reggae act Sinsémillia That’s a date marked with plenty colours in my agenda

Antwerp is easy too. You always end up on the Leien or the Schelde, or the singel if your out of the centre. Gent is complicated and I even live there. All (as in every fucking one of them) streets are one way roads, usually I ride my bike in town but the few times a year I’m in town with a car I get completely disoriented in my own freaking town. I once helped my girlfriend moving in Ghent and her dad drove the car I had to give directions, fooking ambarassing that was. Anyway the AB I find blindfolded see you there ;-)

I only hate the fact that the gig is on wednesday.

Brussels isn’t that bad very multicultural there’s always something happening. (Like trainstations getting closed for security reasons when the EU has something to discuss, there’s also an average of about two demonstrations a day and so and so on) Just don’t get lost in Anderlecht or Sint-Joost or Schaarbeek or so, you might get recruited for the Mujaheddin, if you’re lucky. (does this count as a racist remark?) Anyway from the train to the AB is only 10 mins walking. From the closest parkinglot on the Place Brouckère hardly five mins. And you pass by a lot of snackbars and restaurants and some cafes and close to the AB is big Irish Pub.
