dude ive had a similar situation, ive had a few religious wankers try to force their religion on me as well, it fucking pisses me off, whenever someone comes over to me, i just let rip, tell them all the faults that i find in the bible e.g. thou shall not commit adultery, yeah fucking right, what did mary do then?! cheated on fucking joseph and had relations with “god” and Jesus is born, and god created earth 2008 years ago? piss off!! whered all the dinosaurs come from then?!

then ive told him something that happened to my friends daughter who very sadly died of a burst appendix, she was only 11. i told him: “if god wanted to live our lives, how come my friends daughter endured so much suffering before she died, answer that!!” he couldnt, he was struggling to find words.

im telling you religion is fucked up, its the reason why there are so many wars that are ging on around the world, people should know that the bible IS JUST A FUCKING BOOK!!!!!! whats next? harry potter is a real person? ur reading from the book of dumbledore? in the beginning god created the heavens and the hogwarts? would not surprise me in the slightest!!

i agree that all the good songs from load/reload shud be pieced together to make 1 really good album, load/reload aint their best, but it still have some damn good songs tho, maybe metallica released these kind of albums cuz they know theyre gonna get shit-wads of cash, or maybe they wanted to try something different, i respect any band who risk their careers by creating something different, unfortunately its only worked with a few bands, like Therapy?. i think its great for any band to try and experiment with their sound, rather than churn out same ol material over and over again. metallica tried another experiment, st anger, which by the looks of things did not get the warmest of receptions, i for one love it and i love the snare sound, even tho it sounds like the bottom of a biscuit tin hehe. i have high hopes for this album, i think after 17 years that metallica fans can listen to their new release and actually be satisfied with it in years down the line, unlike the last 3 or 4 albums.
